Not So Grateful for this Cafe - Edit
My partner and I were so excited for this place & we honestly wish we loved it but it was mediocre at best. The environment is beautiful & aesthetically pleasing & so are their dishes but the experience is a different story. The mushrooms were salty, the table smelled like fish, their “Cool” shake tastes as if the mint plant was sitting in it (felt very 50/50 about it), & the server doesn’t check on you or deliver the check promptly, so you have to make sure you won’t need anything after ordering. Honestly, I just really enjoyed the cheesy potato bites & loved that they had SO MANY drink options!

Cute ambiance. The magic fried mushrooms were great. I got the amore sándwich too which I wasn’t a huge fan of since it was sweet.

Food was really nice and hardy with good portions. Much gratitude! - Edit
Such as woke place and really friendly staff. How can the owners be so asleep to use ALMOND MILK! Takes 1 to 3 gallons water to grow ONE ALMOND! In a drought it should be outlawed!
Read morePros: Lots of vegan foods and DESSERT AS WELL!! Yippee
Cons: Plant milk bias for ALMOND MILK!!!????? , Only other option is coconut milk for skinny folk

My go to place - Edit
This place is my go to anytime I’m hungry. I crave them so often that if I caved to the cravings, I think I’d eat here daily. The cauliflower wings and the tacos are amazing. Their sauces are incredible, especially the cashew cheese and the cilantro sauce. If you live to cook, you’re in luck because they also have a cookbook!

Vegan is a life style, Vegan with organic farms products is the best and should be glorified, that’s why I’m dedicated those lines to Cafe Gratitude, to let them and you know that the way they are working by loving every part of the process to offer good food to us - the consumers - make us… so joyful and full of gratitude !
Thank you so much !
By the way it’s open until 9pm and not 8pm as it’s indicate in that guide!
That’s actually the reason why I could eat there!

Always worth a stop - Edit
Often times my wife and I stop here even if we are not totally hungry...we never regret it. I cannot say what particular to order, since I am a true believer they do not serve anything bad. We have been here pretty much every time we stop into Santa Cruz, and have ordered almost every appetizer, juice, drink and entrée, and they are all so amazing!

I devoured the caprese sandwich. The vegan mozz was phenomenal. I also got a mocha cheesecake which melted in my mouth. I got takeout but the outdoor seating seemed good.

I came here with my sister (also vegan) and mum (who doesn’t eat gluten) and all three of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, it feels like a small safe, kind corner, and the area is lovely. I recommend the garlic fries!

Love this place. It has some raw and some cooked options. We had the smokey maple tempeh bacon BLT sandwich and polenta bowl with mushroom alfredo sauce and a side of garlic tempeh. Both were amazing and the place has a very cool vibe overall.

Tasty lunch in Santa Cruz. Had the TLT with the salad and the hot cocoa special. The sandwich was fresh with tempeh, avocado and tomatoes on whole wheat. The side salad had a nice shredded beet topping and the dressing was just right, not overpowering. Hot cocoa was semi-sweet and perfect temperature. Really enjoyed it. Cafe had very positive and respectful servers. Will return for sure!
