Good option but service not great

We’ve had some issues with this place. They close randomly when they are supposed to be open. Or you have to wait for food when it’s supposed to be ready. It’s great that they have labeled vegan options but it is annoying when you try to stop by and the doors are locked and you see employees inside three hours before they are supposed to close. The way they make their tofu is super good so if you’re a tofu lover you’ll like this place but we wary that their posted hours might not be accurate.

Pros: Good tofu

Cons: Closed early randomly

Family Favourite

My Dad loves this place, we get the Hot 'N Jazzy rice bowl before/after hikes and camping trips. I try to stay away from tofu, but their BBQ Tofu is off-the-charts good. Love that when I specify "no dairy" in my order, they offer no-charge extra avocado or carrots/cabbage. A roommate introduced me to their Veggie Burger, lots of ginger.

Pros: No pork/shellfish on the premises, Brew Dr. Kombucha, Proper ratio of rice/beans to toppings/sauce

Awesome!!

Great for vegans. Have vegan options on menu and says to ask to sub extra avocado for the cheese and sour cream. Have ginger cookies, bowls, teriyaki/bbq tofu and tempeh skewers and soups.

Regular lunch spot

I work very near this place and I regularly get bowls. Despite previous review it's not difficult to order vegan, their website addresses this. The yumm sauce is vegan, not egg mayo. All soups, sauces (such as Reuben), and veggie burger are vegan. I have not verified the buns for the burger but easy to ask the employees.
If you're ordering any of the bowls they come with deluxe toppings, which by default include cheese and sour cream. Just ask for your bowl to be vegan and you will be asked if you want extra avocado or a different topping. You can also say no dairy.
I like to get the large smoky bowl with tempeh, vegan with extra avocado, sub olives for onion. Their tempeh is SO GOOD.

Pros: Quick service, Delicious tofu and tempeh, Employees know vegan

Cons: Sometimes busy

not great

They don't list the ingredients fully, so you look at an item, it lists half a dozen ingredients, none of the dairy. It turns up and it's covered completely in cheese and mayo. The service was pretty bad before they brought me a bowl of dairy. Won't be returning.

Wanted to let you know if you give this place another chance, you can order a bowl 'vegan' or 'no-dairy' and they will remove cheese/sour cream from the deluxe toppings and you can request extra of a different topping, such as avocado. Also, what you thought was mayo is their Yumm sauce, which is vegan (chickpea and soy based.)
