My favourite vegan cafe - Edit
Best vegan cafe in the south! Always love their food, such a great menu with weekly specials. All made in house and so tasty. I have the sweet chilli ‘chicken’ wrap this time - 10/10
Read moreAnd my partner had the cashew cheese and mushroom sandwich with tomato and pesto 😍. Also, their cakes selection is to die for always! Huge selection (I always end up pigging out) but just had the one vanilla cream slice, and my bf had a biscoff ice cream.
Pros: Homemade, Good prices, Amazing menu
Cons: Wish I lived closer, Too many cakes - I want them all. , Bring back Thrive in Bournemouth! 🥲

Delicious vegan dishes at a very reasonable price - Edit
We have eaten here twice and were not disappointed either time! The meals are very generous for the price, lovely flavours and there's a mixture of healthier and naughtier dishes. Great choice of cakes at the counter as well, plus a few shelves of vegan sweets available to buy.

Christmas Specials - Edit
This wasn't our first visit to Cafe Thrive, nor will it be our last. Everything was exceptional. We ordered from the Christmas Specials menu. My mum makes a perfect vegan roast dinner but she doesn't love local and as such, I go months without having one.
Read moreWe ordered 2 x Christmas burgers, Roasties with gravy and a battered pigs in blanket. I was worried it might not be enough but it was plenty. The food was excellent and we both really enjoyed it. I recommend everything that we ordered. The portion sizes were very generous. We couldn't finish all that we ordered and brought a few roasties back for our pup (who was equally as impressed.)
The prices were fair given the portion sizes.

A wonderful place for vegans - Edit
Ranging from Deep fried goodness to leafy loveliness, there is something for whatever you’re in the mood for. I love their specials, they always offer variety. I wish the garlic battered mushrooms were always on the menu.

Great vegan restaurant - Edit
All vegan restaurant. There is seating downstairs and upstairs but it tends to get quite busy. Although the set menu is a bit limited (It is basically a choice between burgers or salad bowls) there are new specials every week and a huge counter of pastries and cakes as well as other vegan products on sale. The staff are friendly. We have eaten here many times and only once had any issues so I presume that was a rare off day.

Visited yesterday for the first time after finding on here. Had the chicken burger & sweet potato fries. Great taste & price! Couldn't manage a cake, but bought one to take away, the Viennese Whirl was yummy. Would definitely go again.

The best vegan spot in Southampton!! - Edit
This place is hands down the best vegan spot in Southampton! I’ve visited a few times for breakfast, lunch and dinner and I’ve always been totally amazed with their food! The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable, the food is UNREAL, and they even sell lots of great grocery / packaged goods. Last visit we had the full thrive breakfast which was truly the best vegan breakfast I’ve ever had. You really have to stop here if you’re in Southampton 😄

Good comfort food - Edit
Good comfort food/hangover food, but honestly this place is over-rated as hell. The Staff are always friendly and the cakes are the best bit, but I think we’ve overhyped the food because it’s great to have a place that’s completely vegan in Southampton. For me, it’s a little over-greasy.

Plenty of fairly priced options to choose from. We tried the chicken fries and then chicken was unlike I’d had before but in a good way! The kebab was also tasty. Very busy on a Saturday lunch !

Food coma! - Edit
They have quite a big menu, it was hard to pick. I think I've put on half a stone. If you like your vegan junk food, you need to go here. I also bought a couple of chocolate items I've not seen before from their little shop area. I ordered mostly from their special Oktoberfest menu on this week but they have similar oily dishes with faux meats that won't disappoint.
