Not Great for Vegans - Edit
I used to love cafe rio years ago as a non-vegan but even for non-vegans it hasn’t been as good for a long time. For vegans, there are very limited options at a price point where you could get something much better elsewhere.

This is one of those “vegan options = sides/garnishes” kind of places - no tofu or seitan, just beans. I ordered a burrito with rice and beans and no cheese, with chips and guac.
Read moreI was staying at a nearby hotel, and ordering online for takeout was easy. Back in my room I realized they forgot my chips so I had to go back. Burrito was decent, given that it was only rice and beans, but I noticed there was a thin layer of cheese on the bottom which is an obvious deal-breaker.

Giant burrito with 2 types of beans, guac is free, but it's rather lack luster and not that cheap.
