Really cute cafe - Edit
Delicious food, great vibe, and friendly service. I recommend the pizzas. The coffee is very good, and they have various sweets like dog shaped biscuits.

Pretty Café - Edit
I really liked the Café itself and its atmosphere. They have a separate menu for breakfast and lunch (I don’t know if also for dinner..) and lunch starts at 11am. They have a pasta menu (pasta & small salad) and three kinds of pizza. The portion sizes were pretty small but filling. They also offer a few cakes and desserts. Not huge variety on the menu, but delicious.

Cons: Only cash payment, no card

Time limit for ordering food - Edit
Delicious pizza, pasta, salad, desserts and drinks. But the biggest stupidity of this place is the time limit for ordering food. The cafe introduces a schedule for ordering different dishes. You can't come for breakfast and order pizza from the menu, only after 11, and at lunch you can't order breakfast items. You can't order pasta or a burger for dinner either, because that's for lunch. Why do you restrict clients and force people to eat according to your stupid schedule? whoever came up with this has absolutely no understanding of business and there is no logic here. You are losing money. make all food on the menu available all day, remove those stupid time restrictions

Cons: Limit time for ordering food, Expensive

This is completely normal for a restaurant
Read moreKristinchikus
No, it's not normal. It's a very outdated approach to business, it's not modern. The owners don't study consumer habits, it's also a bad decision for business. It's stupid and inconvenient for customers, it shouldn't be like that at all, breakfasts should be available all day, lunches should also be available in the morning

Gorgeous cafe/ restaurant! - Edit
The interior design & location is beautiful. The inside is very comfortable, you can also choose to sit at a table on looking the river. We ordered juices & two pizzas, all of which were very tasty. The cafe is also pet friendly!

Cozy cafe - Edit
The food was alright, but the ambiance was simply stunning! It was so serene, and you could enjoy your meal while overlooking the Kamogawa river. It's odd that we were the only customers here on a Sunday morning.

Very cute & yummy + cute dogs - Edit
Good food, nice space and a 15 years old sweet Shiba Inu. What else could u ask for? 🥹
Read morePizzas are small and a bit tasty for its size but definitaly tasty.
The orange juice was OK and coffee was good (the art was the best part).
Dog cookies are also nice. Everything is vegan 🌱.
They sell vegan food for dogs too, which I thought was cool and a cotton tote bag with a lovely print that could be a nice souvenir from Kyoto to bring somebody.
The staff was sweet and nice.
Pros: The views to the river, Yummy pizzas, Dogs allowed

So cute and lovely food! - Edit
While the portions are quite small, everything is vegan and gluten free. The space is beautiful, overlooking the river. Also the adorable sakura chan shiba is there! I recommend the latte with the cute dog art on top, and the pizzas are small but very tasty

A must go vegan cafe in Kyoto - Edit
Opened in 2021, Cafe Planet is a sister cafe to another vegan and gluten-free staple Cafe CHOICE in Kyoto. Located along the Kamo River near the popular Kamogawa Delta area, it is a spacious and beautiful cafe that has a dog-OK indoor terrace facing the river and the large main area with a Mezzanine. Their drink menu is extensive and offers espresso drinks, teas, smoothies, lemonades and fresh fruit infused sodas. Their main food items are whole foods, plant-based vegan and gluten-free pizzas that are quite delicious with their homemade white, red and green vegan sauces of your choice and vegetable toppings. They told me that their yummy pizza crust is made from organic sprouted brown rice. They also offer limited number of lunch sets. Their dessert menu is also extensive and offers pound cakes, a chocolate cake, cookies and chocolate soft serve but if you are a chocolate lover you must order their Chocolate Terrine that is chocolatey and creamy bliss! FYI, the food portions may be small for an American standard but the quality of food, the ambience and their good service make it worth your visits.
