All veggie but limited vegan - Edit
Nice dog friendly cafe with lovely garden. One vegan hot main and one vegan sweet treat, but both were very tasty. Oat milk latte was good. Friendly staff

Not for vegans - Edit
Little to no vegan options. Nearly everything made with egg, milk or cheese. Only options were soup or chilli. Really disappointing for a veggie cafe..

Not great for vegan - Edit
3/5 as this is a vegetarian cafe and so for vegetarians there are plenty of options. It’s been a while since I visited but there were few very limited vegan options when I came here. Not ideal if you are vegan & looking for more than a coffee, but otherwise possibly a nice place to visit.

Vegans Not Welcome! - Edit
A few things are vegan, if you ask, though not marked as such. Told all salads were "of course" vegan, although when questioned admitted those dressed with mayo were not. Told we couldn't have the soup as it wasn't gluten free!! Vegan concept not quite grasped here. Chilli with wedges was nice but pricey, my friend liked the pasty.

Very Helpful Staff - Edit
Disappointed with the availability of vegan cakesbut the staff could see how disappointed we were and went and iced some freshly made carrot cake just for us. Very kind.

Tasty vegan lunch - Edit
We were a bit put off coming here because some of the reviews were quite negative, but the vegan cafe next door was shut so we gave it a try. I had a tasty bean chilli with potato wedges. Vegan soup, sausage roll and one type of cake also available.

no vegan options - Edit
No vegan options whatsoever - ridiculous for a vegetarian restaurant. I was with friends who'd already ordered so had to stay, but I ended up with a side salad - I could buy that literally anywhere.

Rubbish for vegans - Edit
came across this place by mistake clearly marketed towards vegetarians. However when I asked about making an ammendments to an item to make it vegan staff were very blunt and quite frankly rude towards me. Didn't really see the need for the attitude.

Good Food - Edit
This is cheery, busy little place in an arcade. They had an unusual and delicious casserole consisting of Thai peanut sauce and courgettes on broken rice. It came with four salads for £9.25, so not cheap, but very good food.
Read moreStrangely for a vegetarian restaurant, the place is filled with "snowy tops" - pensioners. But the food is fully vegetarian and the featured dish vegan.
Positive energy, befitting of Chichester, fills the place. Definitely recommended.
Pros: good tasty vegan / vegetarian food, easy to find, lively, happy environment
Cons: could be priced a little more reasonably, need more vegan desserts

vegetarian heaven (just not vegan heaven) - Edit
When I lived in Chichester and was vegetarian I loved to eat at cafe Paradiso as you knew everything was not only veggie, but very tasty. On visiting Chichester yesterday, and now a vegan, I thought I'd see what they could offer me although I knew my favourite (the stuffed potato skins) were off my menu. I hadn't realised they used so much cheese! The only thing I could eat was their salad, missing out the coleslaw and potato salad (the cous cous also had honey in). Don't get me wrong, the salad was yummy, but it was a salad. I guess I thought they would have caught up with the times and offered at least one vegan dish and maybe one vegan cake (they often do a gluten free one). Never mind. For a vegan the salad is good for one visit, vegetarians you are truly spoilt and make sure you visit!

Cons: not geared up for vegans, cheese heavy
