Vegans are spoilt for clearly marked choice at this cosy restaurant. Standouts were the buttery chana dall and the oily-in-a-good-way aubergine with a turmeric glow and the bite of unusual flat bean seeds. The richness of the latter lent itself to the side dish size serving between two. Although not marked as such, chapatis may be vegan depending on the night (according to the chef's butter whim we were told) so it's worth asking. The chilli heat in some dishes such as the dall can be upped on request too.
