Great coffee - Edit
I loved multiple vegan options, both savory and sweet, in the case. The menu on the wall seemed to have even more vegan choices - smoothies and panini. I was focused on coffee and pastry. We had oatmilk flat white, cold brew, cinnamon roll and vegetable pastry. A lovely find in Monteverde!!

You should definitely go here if you are in Monteverde. The baked goods are fantastic and they also have a vegan empanada which was amazing! The highlight for me was the cinnamon bun!

I wasn’t super pumped with the food because it just wasn’t my cup of tea but I did try a few different options ranging from salty to sweet. We got a potato empanada, vegetable pie & maracuya cake! I would still give them a try if you are vegan. They have plant based milks available as well.

Great vegan pastry options! - Edit
Several vegan pastry options to choose from. Free coffee samples. Nice atmosphere. Across from Stella's that had zero vegan pastry options. Nice organic shop next door with vegan treats as well. Highly recommend. We got the vegan cinnamon roll, vegan banana bread, and empanada (enchilada) de papa. Tomorrow we are going back for the maracoya cake and prob another cinnamon roll.

I like hanging out here. The coffee is good and pairs well with the handful of vegan pastries that are offered. Try the dirty chai with coconut milk.

Amazing Café!! - Edit
Went to this cute little place with some friends from the hostel and we tried every vegan option on the menu😄I just admit, it was overwhelmingly delicious! I first tried the passion fruit cake which was sweet and fruity. As a drink, I had a coffee with coconut milk which was also really good. I tried the cinnamon roll my friends ordered and was amazed!! Two days later, I came back and got the banana bread which was super delicious and the potato empanadas, which I didn't like that much because it had cilantro in it :D.

Very nice little café. The staff was very lovely and knew what to offer vegans. I had a hot chocolate with coconut milk and a cinnamon buns, and on another occasion we tried all the vegan cakes (passion fruit and banana bread). Very nice!

Vegan-friendly coffee shop - Edit
It was great having vegan snacks to go along with the coffee and smoothie drinks here. The coffee is great and comes directly from their farm. On the day we visited, there was a vegan chocolate banana cake, passionfruit cake, cinnamon roll, and potato empanada. All tasted really good. I think they actually come from Evy's because they were the same cakes available when we went there later in the afternoon. In any case, the coffee shop has a much nicer ambience as it is next to a forest walk with outdoor seating and it's next door to a small shop selling lots of vegan foods products and a co-op selling crafts from the local women.
