Gemütliches Buffet - Edit
Wir waren für den Sonntagsbrunch da. Gebr auf jeden Fall bescheid, falls ihr Veganer seid, denn für mich wurde eine Gemüsepfanne (siehe Foto) extra zubereitet. Ansonsten gibt es Hummus, Marmelade, Obstsalat, Bulgursalat und einen sehr leckeren Kaffee / Cappuccino etc. mit Hafermilch. Ich find es ja immer klasse, wenn Veganer UND Allesesser glücklich satt werden und das war hier der Fall.

Vegetarian options and vegan on request - Edit
The owner of this cafe is very knowledgeable about vegan food and although only a couple of items on the menu are vegan they will offer up alternatives and suggestions. I have eaten here a few times. Before when I was vegetarian and also now as a vegan. The food is always delicious and freshly prepared. The salads are filling and super tasty. I feel like I'm in the Mediterranean somewhere when I'm eating them. I've also had some pasta dishes with spaghetti instead of the egg penne they would normally use. I once had a mix off vegetables with bulgar which was made up specially. I'm really hoping that the more vegans who visit this restaurant will help support the owner in being able to offer more vegan food on the menu.

Gem in Viersen - Edit
Delightful cafe, serving coffee, small dishes and full meals. All freshly prepared, abundant with flavour and the staff are very friendly. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable about vegan food and caters to individual requests and adapts dishes accordingly. The spaghetti is egg-free and can be used as a substitution for all pasta dishes. I particularly recommend the salads - walnut and Melin salads are both vegan.
