Adaptable menu for vegans

I visited here with some non vegan friends who are regulars. They informed the owners that I was vegan when booking the table and they really made an effort to go through the menu with me and had even made some dishes especially for me in anticipation. Unfortunately the baklava dessert contained honey and they were mortified when I told them us vegans don’t eat honey. Lovely people but a real shame for the birds in cages. That put a negative edge on the al fresco dining
