Loved our lunch! - Edit
We had a delicious baked potato with pumpkin, spinach, beetroot relish. Everything cooked to perfection. Staff were great. Sign outside announced they had vegan and gf options. We grabbed a muffin and a vegan berry lamington to take away.

The place to eat in Maldon! - Edit
The 2 girls who served us were super lovely. The vegan options were clearly labelled. Our baked potatoes were healthy and delicious. Our hot chips were nice and crunchy. The cake was lovely and moist, and the chai latte was just right.

We enjoyed our visit to Maldon and to Cafe Maldon. Staff were friendly and attentive. Good variety of choice and colour coded trays on display indicate vegan (and gluten free). Nice coffee and ambience.

Great cafe in Maldon - Edit
Great food in Maldon. The Vegan Lentil and Mushroom Pie was one of the best vegan pies I’ve had. Burger was also well received.

Lovely Service and Food - Edit
I was so happy my friend found a cafe with vegan options. The items were clearly labelled on the menu. I had the veggie breakfast and really enjoyed the grilled pumpkin on toast that was part of the breakfast. It was very tasty and filling. The coffee was delicious too. I noticed they had several cakes and slices that were vegan too. The staff were lovely too.

Awesome veggie/vegan burger! - Edit
The veggie/vegan burger (which can be made as either, I had the vegan one!) was AMAZING! Crispy fried patty full of greens and chickpeas (I think!?) with pumpkin, relish, salad and vegan aioli. Chips were great too.

They also have vegan cakes. I had a slice here the other day too!
HIGHLY recommend this place if you are in the area! Very vegan friendly!! xx

Ok, so we were in Maldon during the corona Reduced restrictions, meaning only 10 people inside etc.... (we went to 2 other cafes before this one and both were super rude) these ladies were run off their feet, and they were lovely and they served in good time. We were in no hurry, we sat inside, we ordered from the cashier and went back to our table. I ordered the Vegan pastie and it was probably they best vegan pastie I have ever tasted! I also got the blueberry vegan muffin and I’m sure it was made with a lemon pudding base, it was divine! There were so many vegan options (and vegetarian) it was hard to choose - breakfast, lunch, cakes, vegan options galore! Very happy, would definitely go here again and again and would never bother with any of the other places in Maldon again... we only live 20 mins away, so I think this has just become our new regular cafe! Eat inside, outside or take away.
