Don’t get the ramen - Edit
Cute place, but be careful when you order. I asked if they could do the ramen vegan and they said yes, but I found at least 6 little chunks of meat in the broth. Safer to get the poke bowl or dry noodles.

Just ok - Edit
The menu has some interesting things on it, but the food was just ok. The presentation could be a bit better, but overall I still left full and satisfied.

Good option in a limited area for vegans - Edit
I was working in Kew for the day and thought it would be easy to find good vegan options in the Parade but it was really limited.
Read moreI saw this place on Happy Cow and thought I'd give it a go. I had the rice bowl with fried tofu and sweet and spicy sauce.
When it arrived I wasn't hopeful as it was a big bowl of rice, anemic looking fried tofu and a basic salad. But the sauce was really tasty and I really enjoyed the meal so would recommend popping in if you're looking for a hot vegan option that isn't Pizza Express.

Delicious poke bowls before visit to Kew Gardens - Edit
I'm glad Antipodea was full as I wouldn't have discovered this place. The waitress was very friendly with everyone. Poke bowls are made in four steps: base (rice, salad, or both), main ingredient (tofu, woodlands mushrooms), toppings (many vegan options including edamame, carrots, ginger, seaweed, crispy onions, etc), and sauces. We had vegetable gyoza for as sides and they were great. The regular poke was big enough to fill is up - we didn't want to be too full to walk around Kew Gardens after.

Cons: The door was open and it was cold outside
