Edit

Ok food in chain restaurant - Edit
Starving when I arrived in Tel Aviv so found this restaurant in a large mall. I ordered a kind of lentil omelette sandwich which was quite nice. I checked if the bread was vegan which seemed to cause some confusion until they finally ascertained that the ‘black bread’ was vegan. I had to wait about 20 minutes for it to arrive and they gave me the small instead of the large as requested; at that point I was past caring. I also had an ‘Arabic’ coffee which was not good. Quickly settled the bill and left feeling unsatisfied. Not a place I would return to.

Good - Edit
I had the vegan pasta with vegetables. It was on the greasy side, but there was a lot more vegetables than you would see in the US, so that was nice. My friend was very happy with her non vegan pizza.

Nice Vegan Options - Edit
This is a nice branch of Landwer and really convenient if you're going to the theater or a concert in HaBima Square. Make sure to get there early, it fills up quickly when there's a concert or play scheduled. You can sit inside or out. They have lots of nice options for vegans marked in the menu. I like the lentil balls and rice, and the big breakfast is terrific. For dessert the rozalach (rolls of dough stuffed with lotus cream) is really good and generous. This place is kosher, so there are many vegetarian options as well.
