Pricey but nicey!

This is the salaried expat kind of scene, but it's also a breath of fresh air for a city short on imaginative vegan options. Most dishes can be adjusted for vegan. The smoothies can be made with coconut milk. Also has a little supermarket selling fancy local and international food items. Just note the navigation can be challenging. It appears on Google Maps as Good Market. The address, 14 Reid Ave, is shown by the same map to be several blocks to the south, so ignore that. Enjoy!

My favourite place in Colombo

i love the jackfruit burgers SO much. It's really the perfect meal. Salads are tasty and very healthy feeling. You have no idea. Awesome burnt caramel pancakes as well come onto the menu as specials. Also great fresh juices. The staff here are also really awesome. There's lots of vegetarian stuff on the menu that would benefit from being vegan.
The other Cafe Kumbuk outlet is terrible for vegans though, there's maybe one choice on the menu an sometimes a vegan special.

Pros: Awesome food, Great staff, Vegan options listed

Cons: Serves meat, Too many vegetarian options which could be vegan, Slow service sometimes
