Really nice vegan burger - Edit
Went for the peanut sauce burger and it was lovely but thought the atmosphere of the place was a bit cold. It felt like a fast food café more than a relaxing dinner.

cosy and comfort - Edit
the first cafe that charges for dairy!! it's really giving people a chance to try the *free* dairy-free options they offer. i got beans on toast for breakfast and it's just amazingly good comfort on a rainy morning in bristol. the chill vibe and servers are an icing on the cake. they do vegan pastries too for the old school comfort. sometimes, they do hold events/classes in their basement.

Really want to love it - Edit
I love the idea of this place, the food rocks and the staff are friendly! However, I have been here 3 times and every time it has just been dirty... the toilet, the tables, the water glasses and on the last occasion there were flies everywhere. Unfortunately, I won’t be going back.

Cafe which is always busy, serves great cooked breakfasts as well as burgers, chips, BLT, salads and always has cakes on the counter. A reliable option! They also have a space downstairs which is used for meetings, yoga, bands etc

The best bean burger I’ve ever had! - Edit
Cafe kino is a vibrant and buzzing little cafe, open for breakfast lunch and dinner serving entirely vegan food. The choice was incredible and I had the limo burger with coleslaw and curly fries, which was honestly one of the best meals I’ve had as a vegan! Would highly recommend the food and drink, as well as the events they put on weekly in the basement.

A Bristolian staple - Edit
This cute cafe is a well-established venue in the Bristol Vegan scene. Entirely vegan save for cow juice in coffee on request, this place is predictable and reliable. Top tip: Try the Frappakino and/or the spicy burger.

For £10 you can get a burger with vegan bacon and cheese, delicious patty, vegan mayo, tomato and lettuce plus fries and a salad on the side!! Great inclusive environment, friendly casual counter service and a wide range of interesting drinks. 10/10 would go back!!!!

100% vegan food - Edit
Lovely place with 100% vegan food. The only thing not vegan is they offer cows milk for coffee and tea. I really love the vegan spicy burger with chips. Only £8.50 for the burger and two sides.

Perfect Vegan Experience - Edit
This is my favourite place on Earth. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and the standard of food and drinks is phenomenal. They have a range of salad-type options that frequently change, offering exciting recipes with great portion sizes and they offer quite frankly the best burgers in the world. The inclusivity of the cafe should commended, from the body positive posters in the toilets to 'suspended coffee jar' for those in need in the community- they live up to their co-op status. Whether you wanna drop by for a hemp, soy, oat or almond milk coffee or a gorgeous slap-up meal, Kino is the place to go.

Ace place - one of Bristol's best - Edit
If I lived in Bristol I would go to Cafe Kino all the time! Love that it's a workers' cooperative, the space is totally cool and inclusive and the staff are really friendly. All that aside the food is seriously good - we had a big salad plate and the falafels and the food was tasty, flavourful and the portions were really generous. A great place to go any time of the day I'm sure but it's popular so be prepared for it to be busy.

Great food and prices! - Edit
Visited Kino twice on our visit to Bristol a few weekends back and really enjoyed it- the first for Dinner and had a Burger and Salad, all very tasty and home made! Second for Breakfast which was equally tasty and the coffee was great too with a large choice of different non dairy 'milks'. Kino was recommended to me by some devout vegans and I too would highly recommend and have done so since our visit! All the best to all the team here x

Love your food.........But - Edit
I have visited Cafe Kino at least 10 times and the food is always wonderful. But the only thing that spoils it for me is, every time I've been in, you always get our order wrong. Today 3 of us visited and I ordered a cold sausage roll, which came out so hot I burnt my mouth. My daughter ordered the vegan bacon sandwich with curly fries and got rosemary fries. This happens every time we visit and it so disappointing as the food is so tasty. Last time we came in we didn't get our drinks and when we did, they weren't the drinks we ordered.

Makes you smile. - Edit
Described as Bauhaus meets American dinner by one of the staff, it's kind of much more. A co-op... that's (almost) vegan. Friendly, easy to while away time here. Can get busy and service can take time but then all the more time to watch the world go by or plan your next visit to Cube cinema. Some of the best coffee too.
