Nice vibe - Edit
I can’t comment on the full menu as the kitchen wasn’t open when I was there, but the vibe of the cafe is friendly. However it was expensive as hell! £9.50 for a drink and pasta salad 😰

Poor service - Edit
Really disappointed to wait in line for 10 minutes behind just two customers, whilst two others were in the kitchen not preparing any food just chatting, and not be acknowledged at all and then what was listed as the soup of the day there was no more of at 12:30. Would love to give these guys a second chance!

Fantastic burger - Edit
I’m not a fan of vegan junk food that tastes just as overprocessed as its non-vegan counterparts, and so it was nice to have a burger and fries that actually tasted like real food! I had the classic burger with curly fries and the bean salad. The tomato relish was fresh, the mayo (got the garlic mayo, which I highly recommend) wasn’t goopy, the patty was made from beans but still unique and tasty, the roll soft and flavorful, and the curly fries were on point. The place has a cool atmosphere, and I highly recommend.

Yummy food and great place. - Edit
Had a late lunch there. Sausage sandwich for me, falafel, Pitta and salad for him. Both substantial helpings of yumminess. Polished it off with a shared slice of moist and gorgeous vegan chocolate cake. Lovely place, great for sitting and watching the world go by. Friendly staff. Hope I have time during my stay to go there for breakfast too 😊

Waiting...waiting...waiting... - Edit
My non veg friends did some research and took me out while I was visiting them in Bristol. We arrived at 12.15, ordered coffee and looked at the menu. Nowhere did it make it clear that lunch was not served until 1 as we were told when we tried to order. As we had already settled 2 toddlers we chose to wait with coffee rather than move them and settle them somewhere else. After ordering we still had to wait a further 35 minutes for our food to arrive.
Read moreThe food itself was good but not worth the wait.
The staff never checked back to see if we were okay.

Fresh homemade food that’s different everyday - Edit
This place has a welcoming, community feel to it and offers fresh food made everyday, so the choices are always different. They have colourful flavoursome salads and the best homemade cakes! I had a chai spiced cake that was the fluffiest, best vegan cake I’ve every had. What’s also great is that the staff rotate between the roles in the cafe and support many local vendors to source their ingredients.
Read moreThe cafe does fill up quickly though at lunch time and as you can’t book a table, it’s important to get there early.
Pros: 100% vegan, Fresh, homemade food supporting local trades

A very eco friendly place, with beautiful food- especially the burgers (which are homemade), the staff are always really lovely. There’s also options of desert which are equally are beautiful (recommend blueberry ice cream). The atmosphere is also nice, would recommend.

Relaxing and Yummy - Edit
Vegan child and I loved our BLT and seitan burger. Probably could not have everyday, but certainly nice for comfort food. Service was quite slow, but in return you get carefully made lunches.

Great experience - Edit
A restaurant that obviously cares about animals, the planet and people. We had some good breakfast and coffees there. The fact that they are a non-profit, trying to service the community, was the cherry on top.

Not bad, but needs to improve - Edit
The place was dirty, but the atmosphere was nice. The waiters were very nice but the cashier was a bit rude. The place is fully vegan and covered with LGTBQ supporting phrases. The food was great although not very cheap. The toilet was not great, something to improve a lot. Some tables are not very comfortable and all of them were quite dirty. We had to ask several times to clean them and they did it poorly. Higiene lacks a bit in this place. Some of the cutlery was really dirty, specially spoons. The location is horrible if you want to stay in the city center, too much in the north and public transport is not great here.

Very good! - Edit
It's now completely vegan too. I've only tried the burgers and chips which are great! Very good value too. My only problem is the use of a microwave to make burgers and soy is used in the mayo.

I really was so excited to go here after hearing amazing reviews. When I finally got around to visiting, I wasn’t overly impressed... I had the seitan burger - I think this was a special at the time. It wasn’t great tasting, nor presented and over priced. The seating inside was really limited and just uncomfortable.😒I won’t be visiting again.
