Cute and artsy

Got an oat latte and a vegan sweet treat. Loved the atmosphere, the baristas are super friendly and welcoming.

Pros: Tasty coffee, LGBTQIA friendly, Some vegan pastries options

Cons: Easy to walk past/miss

One option

This is a cafe, not a restaurant. It offers one vegan option - a wrap that is bland and not very exciting. No gluten free items. They stop preparing fresh food at 4p. There may be some left over prepared sandwiches from earlier in the day which by 5p are ready to be composted. The coffee is good and the outdoor seating nice. This is in a section of the block that is no longer drive through so you need to drive up a street parallel with Plum.

Pros: Good coffee, Funky

Cons: Misleading hours open. , Thought we'd get dinner there at 5p.

This review is not for Cafe Isla. The cafe was previously Seven Stones Cafe. Cafe Isla is a take-out cafe (during Covid pandemic) selling espresso drinks and baked goods. We offer limited gluten free baked goods as well as limited vegan options. Before Covid, Cafe Isla made sandwiches to order. Businesses have store hours for a reason above inconveniencing you. Like tracking labor costs and keeping overhead in relation to those labor costs.

In July of 2017 it was a sit in or take out cafe.
