My friends first vegan experience and he loved it!

I had the original and glorious and one was better than the other! Both were amazing and were good enough for my non vegan friend to become a vegan believer! Now I just have to take him to some more places like Never Caged for some Hot chick’n sandos to fully convert him! Hahah

Excellent every time

Their menu is so excellent, but my go to is always the Mucho bowl with the chicken fried mushrooms and extra mushroom carnitas 💚 They also do a gingerbread latte that is out of this world x

Pros: 100% vegan

Cons: Take out meals always seem to be smaller, A little pricey

Upscale dining, but feels down to earth

I love the atmosphere. The staff go above and beyond and ask as a daily question about gratitude. The nachos are delicious and the Caesar salad is A . A little pricey, but you pay for quality and the experience. Definitely recommend to vegans and non-vegans alike.

Excellent Buffalo Cauliflower

I know every place has Buffalo cauliflower these days, but here it was sooo good. My entree was fine, but nothing remarkable. Friendly staff!

Pros: All vegan, Friendly staff

Just OK

I came with a group from work for happy hour around 4:30pm. We sat outside and while it was a bit chilly they had heaters and pulled down the shades so it was very comfortable. We all ordered various drinks and 4 plates of appetizers. I ordered the light hearted which is essentially fancier sparkling water :p Everyone else ordered coffees of cocktails yet their drinks all came out first. Mine never did and I ended up having to ask for it twice. Once I received it I did enjoy it! Another person in my group also had to ask for their drink. One of the appetizers we ordered was fried pickles. It tasted like zucchini. Or maybe they fried a cucumber and forgot to pickle it but they were terrible. Bland, no seasoning, etc. but the vegan dip was delicious! We also ordered nacho fries and they were pretty good. Our server was very sweet and attentive. However, based on this experience I'm not sure if I would want to go back.

Cons: Bland food , Slow service

more hype, too expensive

i had high expectations for this place giving its reputation but i’ve been twice now and each time the food is just ok. too expensive for small portion sides. not that much flavor or creative ingredient combinations. veggie bowl and smoothie bowl both were $16 each and neither were filling. i do appreciate they have a separate menu for allergies and the service is good.

Pros: separate allergy menus , friendly waiters

Cons: expensive, small portions

You are magical!

This restaurant is so special! Both the food and atmosphere are incredible. They have both raw and cooked options, and a lot of gluten-free options as well. Their drinks are delicious and the experience of dining here is one of my favorite parts.

Pros: Experience , Atmosphere , Excellent food

Authentically classy, clean and healthy.

Every time I go, I am surprised all over again at how clean, delicious and genuine this place is. It’s expensive but every time I go, I remember it’s one of my favorite vegan spots in LA. The salads make a plant based eater blissed - kale ceasar and seaweed kale are my favorites! Raw pesto kelp noodles and raw lasagna for us living food folk. Macro flair to everything else. And the desserts are really something else. Love the wellness shots as appetite stimulants before the meal. Set in lovely Larchmont. Staff is always cool af and down-to-Earth city-style.

Too expensive

Portions were for their prices too small. Staff was not that friendly as we are used to in the US. However tasty and healthy raw food.

I can't believe it!

They offer super foods on their smoothies which is a super plus. I order a burrito with mushrooms, beans, rice and guac, and literally holy mole! the mushrooms tasted like mexican mole. It was driving me crazy! I loved it

Pros: super foods, Mole flavor mushrooms

awesome

I love cafe gratitude, from the ambience to the service and the food. Just be prepared to wait because there is usually a wait if you come on the weekends, can’t say for the weekdays because I have never been. The food and ambience is worth the wait. Guess I’m just a sucker for hipster looking places along with good vegan food, but I’m sure a lot of people can agree with me on that :)

Pros: ambience, food , service

Cons: parking

Grateful Review

Cafe Gratitude's philosophy of practicing gratitude is within its menu, its servers, and the atmosphere. It is quite a wonderful spot to feel grateful at for many things.

Pros: Outdoor and indoor seating, Light shines through the windows, Veg*n food

Cons: Clueless of how to enter garage parking, Raw food options could supersede the other options, Uninformed about reverse-osmosis water served

Nice vegan place, expensive though.

It is a great location, with a lot of space inside and outside. For the parking there are only 3 spots for free, now if you park on the street where there is some places as well, it's only 1$ per hour.

There are great people around, the staff is very helpful and friendly.

When I went there on a Monday evening, the choice was rather limited. Just a few drinks and salads. Now still a lot of desserts.

I took a big green juice, which was big and very good.

After which I took a big kale salad with avocado, which I found rather small (now I was quite starving at that moment).

I then tried out a few desserts and have to say that the tiramisu was really my favorite. The staff mentioned it as being completely raw, now with the taste I experienced, I'm not so sure.

I had a good experience and just did find it a bit pricey. I understand that food is not cheap, now around 70$ for juice, salad and a few desserts was for me personally pretty heavy.

Pros: Great vegan food, Lovely people, Nice place

Cons: Quite expensive

It is vegan! I have their new cookbook, Love is Served. Almost all the restaurant items are in there and all their recipes are vegan. What items are you referring to that you think are not vegan?

One of the best!

After visiting the Venice location I came to this location and again from beginning to end this place was incredible. The wait staff are knowledgable and happy to help and the kitchen staff know how to make amazing food!

We ordered the eggplant burger and tacos. Devine! We were even supplied a ingredient booklet of everything on the menu so we could rule out all food no nos (which between my friend and I we have a lot of).

Cafe Gratitude appears to be consistent with their great level of staff in all areas. Very happy customer!!!

Pros: Extensive menu , List of ingredients

Cons: Too expensive to eat here everyday (I wish I could

Really Freakin Good

My absolute favorite vegan place to eat. Great ambiance, nice staff, many options, amazing food. I could seriously go on and on. Literally everything here is delicious, you cannot go wrong. If people hype this place up, it's because they seriously deserve it. You pay a pretty penny but it is all worth it.

Pros: vegan, so many options, pretty clean

Cons: wish they were everywhere
