Nice ambience

It has only 3 main options for dishes, few types of dessert and drinks. For me the food tastes good and delicious. The place is a bit far from town. However, if you are driving, it is no issue at all.

Pros: Good food, Nice ambience, Friendly staff

Cons: Far from town, Limited choices

Lovely place but nothing vegan

Such a lovely setting and food looked great. Staff was lovely.

Sadly nothing for vegan and couldn’t veganised when I went there. I suppose I was unlucky as it seems some people managed to have vegan dish seeing the reviews. Nevertheless I appreciate how beautiful both the place and staff was for our brief 5 mins stay😄

nice place but limited options

Very nice location, however the already small menu has very limited vegan options.
There were 3 items on the menu, none vegan. The sandwich could be veganized without the cheese, but even the staff said it would be too simple, just bread and veggies.
They didn't have the beans plate on the menu of the day, but were kind enough to make an exception so we chose that. Was quite good.

Pros: flexible, friendly staff, pretty location

Cons: almost no vegan options

Lovely veg. cafe in nature setting

Amazing nice cafe in south Furano, surrounded by nature. Great kind staff, great tasty lunch. And even better bagels for takeout....it was such a great experience! Highly recommended!

Friendly people, nice service, adapted the menu for Vegans, nice ambience in a lovely wooden barn conversion...well worth a visit

Pros: Lovely food and coffee roasted onsite, Vegan options

Cons: Perhaps not easy from Furano without car

Cosy Cafe

Visited this beautiful cosy cafe on a rainy day for lunch on our way to Biei. Friendly staff, tasty meals and hot coffee. Will alter meals to make vegan friendly. Definitely worth the stop!

Ambience-rich veg experience

We ate here twice during our recent visit to Furano. The ambience is exceptional (restored farm house playing jazz music), and the service is courteous and pretty quick (especially for a small place). They have 3 menu options (which were the same the two times we went on consecutive days). The food is good, but a little less so for vegans. The two times we went, the vegan options were a vegetable sandwich (cheese omitted on request) and a bean/lentil dish (very heavy on the cumin - which worked for us!). They don’t have salt or soy sauce. So if you are salt people (which we are), you need to bring your own (which we did). Definitely recommend! Important note: we followed the Happy Cow app directions on both Google maps and Apple maps and ended up in the middle of a field many kilometers away from the restaurant - so if you don’t have an alternative Japanese GPS (that can use telephone numbers, for example), you probably need to call the restaurant and ask for help how to get there.

Pros: Amazing ambience, Nice service, Interesting drinks

Cons: Menu a bit limited

Wonderful.

This charming cafe is nestled in the middle of the farms of Furano. The building is a restored farm shed, giving it a rustic atmosphere. The soft jazz music adds to the relaxed ambience. The staff are very pleasant and helpful, and speak some English. The food is delicious. Highly recommended.

Pros: All vegetarian. Great food. Friendly staff.

Amazing.

This little restaurant is in a refurbished old barn. When you walk in, your ears are greeted by the sound of soft jazz music. There are three general menu options daily, as well as multiple seasonal dessert choices. All of the food was delectable!! Their desserts in particular were decadent; they were served up with seasonal fruit. Their lunch/dinner foods were scrumptious as well! Their drinks-particularily their blueberry soda-were incredible. Much of their herbs and fruits and such are freshly picked from their garden or (I beleive) from around Hokkaido. The atmosphere was charming and rustic, and the view of the rolling hills, mountains, and farmland are gorgeous. The building is adorable, with a very down-to-earth, barny, rustic feel. The staff are extremely kind and friendly, and they speak some english. There is an English menu as well! Cheaper than you'd expect for such quality food. Definitely a must-see in Furano!

Pros: Easy to choose what you want, English speaking staff, Lovely atmosphere, delicious food

Cons: None

Cute cafe in an old farmhouse

We stopped by this cozy cafe for lunch on our way to the Furano flower fields. It's a vegetarian cafe, but the staff understands veganism and worked with us to explain what can be veganized. I had the chili beans, which were very good. They normally come with cheese on top, but the staff omitted that.

Pros: An oasis in the veg desert of central Hokkaido

Cons: Limited options
