Small vegetarian Swedish-style cafe offering soups, quiches and sourdough bread. Also offers coffees, teas and gluten-free cakes. Open Mon-Fri 09:00-15:00.
This is a great little cafe with really friendly staff who are so accommodating. The coffee is delicious and there’s always a vegan bagel, salad and cake on offer. Not to be missed if you’re in Forres.
Visited here on good account that they serve some proper bad ass coffee. And yes they do! We also had some homemade lentil soup and bread with vegan spread. All so tasty. Dog friendly!
Will be back again soon.
The staff at Cafe Fika are so friendly; they'll take the time to chat with you despite being busy most of the time! The atmosphere of the cafe is inviting, laid-back and homely. There are only a few tables, so it never gets noisy. I had tea, which was loose leaf (!) And came in a gorgeous big mug. The bakes looked delicious too so I'll need to come back for those.
Vegetarian cafe in Forres! So nice. The cafe is inspired by the Swedish fika, and there's a little board on each table detailing this. Their cutlery and crockery is actually designed by Scandinavian people. Most of the stuff they sell is organic. I appreciated their commitment to being environmentally friendly and authentic. I had their homemade mushroom and bean soup which was very tasty. Definitely recommend visiting if you're in Forres!
