No vegan options - Edit

Keine vegane Optionen zum Frühstück. Als ich nach veganen Optionen gefragt habe wurde mir Quiche angeboten (mit Eier). Wir sind eine Patisserie, hiess es. Das einzig vegane ist Cappuccino mit Oatly.

Worth a detour - Edit

We had dinner at this Café in July 2019 and loved their vegan options--a risotto and a tempeh dish. The staff was very friendly as well. We sat outdoors and enjoyed the Lausanne night scene.

They group vegetarian and vegan but it looks like their tempeh is vegan as well. They also have a very nice sounding dessert now. Not bad for a small cafe.

Only a few vegan options; but good ones - Edit

I had dinner at Cafe Enning.
It seems they have increased their vegan offer recently, as they had a few vegan options in the menu for appetizers, mains and desserts (not labeled as vegan so you need to confirm). On the down side, they do offer a lot of meat.

Anyway, I had the tempeh fricasée with black rice, which was very good.

The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was nice despite a loud group of tourists nearby. Prices (23€/plate) were rather normal for Lausanne, I guess.

Pros: location, vegan options, friendly service

vegan burger with charcoals bun - Edit

They only have one declared vegan option on the menu which is a burger (can't remember the name), but I think they can customise other dishes as well.
The burger was excellent and is served with fries, little salad and a vegan mayo! I highly recommend it, though a bit pricey (24.-)
