Very disappointing

Not a local to the area and this had good ratings. The only options were a vegan burger or a quinoa salad.

Pros: The staff were nice

Cons: Nothing really to choose from

Definitely not as good as used to be

Pre-2020 we used to go to this cafe quite often because they had so many vegan options, including a vegan breakfast which was delicious. We went there yesterday and there were only three options on the menu and the vegan burger was very ordinary. It was the fake meat type of vegan burger and so fake that I questioned whether they’ve given us the wrong meal.. I don’t like it when it taste like the real thing and even looks like it. I would rather have a lentil burger any day. The Chai tea was nice and overall it was satisfactory I would probably try somewhere else in Redcliffe has he seems quite a few other options these days.

Down by the sea

I had coffee here. It’s nice, friendly staff. I’ll have to come back for the vegan burger they serve

Yummy Avo and Pumpkin Toast

Had a lovely experience. Staff were all very friendly, food didn’t take too long to come out.

I had the avo toast with pumpkin without the feta, so much value for money, lots of avocado, wish there was a little bit more pumpkin, but overall great.

Also had an almond latte, which was very good as well.

Pros: Lots of vegan/veg options, Great coffee, Lovely staff

Vegan options available

I had the smashed pumpkin & avo on rye breakfast and whilst it was very tasty and there are quite a few vegan and vego options, the prices are expensive and we waited about 35 mins or so for our order. The kids menu also has vegan and vego options

Pros: Lots of vegan and veggie options, Overlooks the beach

Cons: Expensive, Waited a long time for our dine-in order

3.5 Stars

Nice little cafe in beautiful Redcliffe. Has a few vegan options. I chose the Koran scrambled tofu with kimchi. It was lovely but the kimchi a little on the spicy side for me. The tofu scramble was delicious and plenty of it! Only slight downside it was served with a dried up old lime and I love plenty of lime. Service was ok but no one seemed very happy to be there. Maybe Covid related though. All in all I would return.

Lots of options

Cafe Diversity has about seven vegan breakfast options and five vegan lunch options. Last week I had the vegan waffle bowl. I can’t see it on the online menu so it might be a new addition. It was a waffle in a bowl shape with toffee ice cream and fresh fruit, sauce, and pretty garnishes. Very enjoyable. Food from here is always fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. Coffee is good. If you have a little person, I recommend the kids bento box. It is a cute bamboo box with jatz and lots of fruit. Good service, lots of seating. Indoors has a children’s play area. Outdoor has ocean views.

Pros: Lots of options, Fresh and tasty, good presentation, Pleasant surroundings, decor, views, kid friendly

Nice vegan meal at mainstream restaurant

There were several good vegan choices on this menu that suited food for everyone. We enjoyed the pumpkin and pomegranate salad. Nice service and the outdoor dining area overlooks the water. Great spot for a lazy Sunday lunch.

Pros: Some vegan options, Nice atmosphete, Some vegan cakes available

Cons: On the road, Expensive

Lovely food

Every time I go to this restaurant I appreciate the good variety of sweet and savoury vegan options. I’ve taken my family and friends there for breakfast several times and the food is always a winner. Sometimes the service has been a little disappointing but mostly good.

Cafe Dversity

Large, modern cafe, located right on Redclffe Beach on the main esplanade.

Vegan options are clearly labelled. There are set menu times and daily salads.

The staff were super helpful with any questions we had and helping us veganise dishes that were on the menu.

They were also incredibly attentive and came out to let us know that the Kimchi Scramble had a little wheat in it because it had been ordered with gluten free bread.
