Don’t be fooled - plant power crepe

If you read the description below, it sounds good. But it’s very poorly executed. It was flavorless and very fibrous. The crumbly “cheese” is just cashews nothing seems to be added.

Plant Power -$11.99
Vegan Crepe; spinach, garlic cream, vegan cheese (dry, crumbly, cashew based), roasted almonds and a touch of maple syrup

Great coffee & crepes

The coffee (latte and cappuccino) were really good. Husband got oat milk cappuccino with lavendar and I got the oatmilk pumpkin latte with coconut whipped creme. We shared the starwberry crepe with housemade chocolate (confirmed vegan) with the buckwheat vegan option for crepes. #Veganuary

Pros: Several vegan options for crepes, Oat, soy, and almond milk options, Coconut whipped creme

Cons: Wait time is long esp during rush, Upcharge for coconut whipped creme, Upcharge for vegan milk alternatives

Sweet & Savory!

This place looks like a random little blue shack from the road, but it is indeed a gem. Friendly, enthusiastic service - seems to be a family owned and operated spot- and hooray for vegan options! I opted to try the "plant powered crepe" which had spinach, garlic, almonds, and was delicious! I also had to try something sweet, so I got the strawberry fields with their homemade chocolate sauce as the vegan sub for the usual Nutella that comes in that crepe. Vegan crepes are made with buckwheat which I believe also makes them GF, but I did not ask so don't just take my word for it. Overall great experience - and it's a drive thru so couldn't be more convenient! Highly recommend.

Pros: Service, Flavor, Convenience

Cons: Only one savory option

Great place for vegan crepes

The Plant Power crepe was pretty good. I liked all the spinach and the nutty filling. The Strawberry Fields crepe could have been a little sweeter with more chocolate. Great coffee.

Pros: One savory, several sweet vegan crepes , Reasonably priced , Outdoor seating

Cons: Too much plastic waste, plastic wrapped utensils , Strawberries not too sweet

Delicious and well labeled vegan crepes

The menu was very clearly marked and the crepes were delicious. They have a cute outdoor seating area under trees.

Fantastic!

Great unique spot! It's a small drive through so don't expect a sit down place. Quite busy but worth the wait. We got the plant powered (savory) and Deja Vu (chocolate/banana). Both were quite delicious. Pricy but what isn't in tourist towns!

Pros: Several vegan options , Delicious

Cons: More expensive for quantity of food. , Longer wait

Yes yes yes!

The Plant Power Crepe was awesome! Filled with spinach, almonds and some sort of vegan cream sauce, with maple syrup and wrapped in a buckwheat crepe, it was so good! The vegan sweet crepes were also great. Got the Fireside, with caramelized apples and coconut whipped cream. Just remember to specify *vegan* when ordering the sweet ones as they have a V next to them but that means ‘can be made vegan’, not already vegan. Definitely a must try if in Big Bear!

Plant Power crepe was delicious!

Price was not too bad, $8-10 for most. Plant power crepe was super tasty (almonds, vegan cheese, whole wheat crepe I think, spinach). The place is very cute and quaint, and the staff were friendly.

Pros: Tasty options , Friendly staff and environment

Cons: Could have more options (only 1 savoury vegan)

Get the Plant Power Crepe!

The Plant Power is Garlic cream, spinach, house-made plant based cheese, roasted almonds, Maple syrup in a buckwheat batter crepe... It’s incredible! We’re heading back today for more! We also had the Fireside which was a sweet apple and cinnamon crepe with a vegan coconut whipped cream! Don’t miss out on eating here!

Pros: Phenomenal Vegan Crepes, House-Made Plant Based Cheese, Vegan Milks for Coffee and Hot Chocolate

Cons: Closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Awesome place!

This place is rad! The staff is very informative and kind (and younger). Their coffee is really good (love their mochas!) and the crepes are yummy! We’ve had the “plant powered” and “strawberry fields” one; so good! They even have coconut whipped cream!

Pros: Lots of vegan options, clearly labeled; tasty!, Friendly, informative staff, Easy to find

Cons: Small, can be a long wait, Popular, so again: long wait, Nothing indoor, all outdoor (for those who care)

Delicious vegan crêpes!

I have not had vegan crêpes before but this set the bar high. Good coffee too. Ethically sourced.
