Flavorful - Edit
Cute little bar with good vegan options. The enchiladas were delicious, and the chorizo is really good. I would definitely come back!

Always a favorite - Edit
This little gem is always good for vegan eats! Whether you prefer a burrito, tacos, or fajitas, they have multiple vegan filling options to choose from like soy chorizo, Herbed Tofu, or mixed veggies. Everything is flavorful, fresh and fast. I always eat here when I come to town!

Great meal! - Edit
Ordered on grub hub last night and it was great! Got the soy chorizo enchiladas and I would totally order again! Lots of vegan options that didn’t seem like after thoughts to their non-vegan menu!

Amazing Vegan Tacos!! - Edit
Went here for lunch today with my family. YUM-O!! Super cute little restaurant with some indoor and plenty of outdoor seating, as well as a couple of picnic tables out by the sidewalk- which is where we sat today since we had our dog with us and as expected they aren’t allowed in the restaurant’s seating area. We ordered to go so we could sit at the picnic tables. The gentleman who took my order at the bar was super friendly and the food was AMAZING! I ordered the Vegan Taco Plate. It was the answer to my Mexican food craving wishes!!! (Insert glorious “aaaaahhhhhh” moment). I ordered my tacos with the soy chorizo, but they have 3 different vegan options to choose from and the back of their menu had all vegan meal choices- which was awesome because it made picking out my meal super simple :) My husband had the lunch burrito and while we initially ordered him the marinated tofu filling option it came with the soy chorizo, which he said “was ok because it was absolutely delicious and didn’t taste like ‘fake’ chorizo.” I love Mexican food and I absolutely love tacos. You can bet this is going to be my new favorite place to visit :)

Love this place - Edit
There are 2 locations. The original location is in Riverwest and a newer one in Bay View. They have a whole side of their menu dedicated to vegan dishes and, seriously, every single item is delicious. I prefer the crimini mushroom filling option, but the soy chorizo is seasoned perfectly.

Yum! - Edit
We went yesterday, and were pleasantly surprised with the entrees. Many vegan options to choose from, and the ability to make other menu items vegan. They do not have a vegan cheese or sour cream option available, if you are looking for that. I had the mushroom ragout with a side of rice (as was suggested by our knowledgable and super friendly server, Anika). It was absolutely delicious! The broth was delicious! My SO (omni) had the chicken fajitas and he was supposed at the complex flavours in the seasoning. They have tasty specialty cocktails as well. I had the petal pusher and enjoyed it. We did not, however, enjoy the guac or the salsa. The guac was over processed and needed lime, cilantro, and a hit of salt. The salsa tasted like canned tomato sauce with a few fresh tomatoes and hot sauce thrown in. I would skip those items next time, as there is a charge and we were less than thrilled. We loved the outdoor dining, and the way they incorporated herbs veggies into the landscape. We will visit again on our next trip to Milwaukee.

A good experience - Edit
I may take great vegan Mexican spots for granted, there are 3 amazing burrito places in my neighborhood in Portland. Each of those are different, and Corazon is no exception. We went for brunch. I got the Chilaquiles which were good, but I prefer the crunch of crisp tortillas. The sauce was great, but overall I found the vegan version lacking. I thought the egg would be replaced with tofu, so I added the soyrizo to the tortillas, but sadly there was no tofu, and it really would have filled out the meal. The rice and beans were both very good but it is disappointing that the refried beans are not vegan friendly. My wife had the rancheros which looked good and a much larger serving with the tofu. Will try again for dinner.

Very good vegan experience - Edit
We enjoyed our visit at Cafe Corazon! One whole page of their menu is all vegan, plus they say they can veganize other dishes as well. We had the tacos and the fajitas, and were very pleased. The portion size of the fajitas was quite large and was delicious, with a choice of corn or flour tortillas. The salad with the tacos was green and crunchy. If we lived here, we would be back often! The service was efficient and friendly. There is outdoor seating as well.

Cons: No vegan dessert, Space would be limited in cold weather
