No labels on food, really unclear - Edit
Unlike past reviews, there is only cabinet food which is about half vegan, all types of sandwitches or quiche but a good variety of them. None of them are labelled and there is no food menu so it's really quite a pain to have to ask what everything is and how much it costs, it feels rude and time intensive and just odd. The prices are good, in two we ate and drank for 25€ or so which isn't bad at all I think. There is also no table service, and their hours are written wrong online because on Sunday they open at 10, not 9am. Also my food was theoretically heated, but really it was just one corner that was hot and the rest room temperature which wasn't a shame considering the heat but just added to the oddness of this place.
Read morePros: Good variety of vegan sandwich flavours, Dozens of drink options! , Affordable and basic but satisfying food
Cons: No food labelling or food menu, Half heated food, No visible prices for the food

Convenient and romantic spot - Edit
We got a wrap and a traditional Maltese sandwich, along with drinks. Fabulous location, romantic spot, and the food was really good. It seems like vegan options are a little hard to find in the middle of Valetta so it was really nice to find Cafe Castille. It has a nice, chilled out vibe and you can eat in or get take away. Plus, the man managing the hotel nextdoor (which you have to enter to use the restroom), is very friendly!

Good vegan options & kind staff - Edit
We went twice to Cafe Castille during our stay in Malta because the cappuccino is very good and the vegan sandwich options are great (and well served). The staff is very friendly and attentive, explained and answered questions about the sandwiches. We recommend the sandwich with sweet potatoes and hummus, it was delicious.

Even better than we had hoped - Edit
Majority of the sandwiches here are vegan, a lot of the cakes, just ask the staff which ones, they are very friendly and knowledgeable about the food and veganism. They have plant milk prominently displayed for coffees, iced coffees and milkshakes. Also sells smoothies, tea and a decent range of cocktails and beers. In a nice spot next to the square and near the Barrakka Gardens, Archaeology Museum and Battery.

Can’t recommend it enough - Edit
We went here for breakfast and it was absolutely amazing. They offer many vegan options, you can even build your own sandwich or wrap. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and the food was amazing. We had a focaccia with scrambled curried tofu and grilled vegetable and a self-built wrap with plant-based chicken, vegan cheese, vegetables and vegan mayo. Both dishes were very delicious and of good quality. They also offered five different types of plant-based milk for coffee and milkshakes. Furthermore they offered a selection of vegan cakes and muffins. We didn’t try them but they looked good.

Favourite lunch spot in Valletta - Edit
Been here every day for lunch since we arrived. Like everywhere else in Valletta this is a place that just does vegan options but the ones they do are great. Fake chicken wrap is amazing, alongside a good pizza and standard beyond burger.
