Awesome Vegan Drink Options, Not So Much Food

A very cozy little coffee shop, I love that it's fair trade! The coffee is organic and most of the drinks have vegan atlertatives. Their food menu has changed, however, and there are only two or three vegetarian/vegan options. Still, a very lovely hangout!

Pros: Quality coffee

Cons: Not much vegan food items

The best coffee in southwest Georgia!

The staff is friendly and more than willing to accommodate to a vegan customer. Very calm atmosphere, perfect place to chill and study! Their oatmeal is the BEST!

Pros: Wonderful food , Friendly staff

Cons: Honestly cannot think of anything!

Great Gem Buried in South Georgia

I've been frequenting Cafe Campesino for many years. I live in Atlanta but visit Americus often for business. Cafe Campesino is a great business. They are a whole sale fair trade coffee company. You can find their coffee at many independent, high end coffee shops all over the U.S.

Cafe Campesino in Americus started serving food a few years ago and it is a real treat. Their Hummus is home made and their oatmeal is my favorite breakfast especially during blueberry season. The founder of Cafe Campesino, Bill Harris, also owns an organic Blueberry farm so you can imagine the freshness and quality.

They have great baked goods but check the ingredients because many are not Vegan. Let them know you are a Vegan and they will take very good care of you. As a treat, try out the Cuban, Almond Latte. There is nothing like it in the world. It is a unique Vegan treat I can't get anywhere else. Enjoy!

Pros: Lot's of vegan choices or accomodations, Fresh and real food, Funky atmosphere

Cons: Location isn't easy to find
