Nice place with a confusing touch - Edit
Nice menu, nice atmosphere, music reggae and Erykah Badou. It was a bit loud so we had to try different tables to have a decent conversation. We were told that all veggie options are also available in vegan, you only have to ask. When asking, they asked us what we want to have replaced. that was a little confusing. There were no more avocados at 12:30 on a Saturday. We asked for the Vegan version of a toast with egg, which was replaced by mushrooms and was delicious! Friend ordered something else that arrived at the table very late. When paying, there were two dishes on top on the bill, so better check well.

Good food, but very confusing - Edit
We came here for a birthday and I was so happy to see many vegan symbols on the menu, but I also noticed that the "vegan sharing platter" didn't have a vegan symbol next to it, whereas almost every dessert did, often combined with an allergen symbol of containing eggs or cow's milk. When we asked the staff about it, they said that we shouldn't mind the symbols because they were all wrong and that instead we should just ask.

We thought they only brought 1 sharing platter for 2 persons, so we asked them about it and they confirmed that it was in fact for 4. We still went for the only dessert that was actually vegan, which was the coconut panna cotta. It didn't have the texture of panna cotta. It was more of a firm grainy pudding, but tasty nevertheless with a nice fruit coulis on top. In the end, we noticed that our bill only mentioned 1 sharing platter for 2 persons. The food itself was quite good, but I found the experience as a whole quite confusing.

No longer serves the vegan sharing plate - Edit
Was honestly quite disappointed when I went there seeing only one vegan option in the main dishes and one veggie burger which was not vegan because of the honey tahini dressing. They do not serve the sharing plate anymore that was mentioned in previous reviews.( I asked if they still did as it wasn’t on the menu anymore) Staff was not too friendly either, but hey everyone has a bad day. I ordered the vegetable plate and well, it was just that ... roasted veggies with rice and a peanut sauce. A bit expensive at 16€ if you ask me.

They will not serve the vegan platter with a selection of 6 vegan items for one person, so was forced to choose 2-3 items to get in bigger sizes from the menu. Had hummus, taboulé, and the tofu. All of it was bland and not well flavored. Do not recommend. Feels expensive because the food is so unspectacular.

However we had never eaten at an african restaurant so maybe our expectations were off, but we did wonder if a balsamic dressing on the salad is indeed African, not sure.
The crispy rolls and the tofu were tasty though!

We went there last day for a lunch and it was really good and tasty! Well spiced and a perfect cooked. In the evening they also have a vegan platter to share at 2 or 3 people and a vegetarian burger, it's look like big and delicious! Next time we will try that😄So, all of that and the good vibes and atmosphere, it's really a perfect place!

Extremely friendly staff. Not posh but kinda cozy and good spirits-style. They will put together vegan stuff for diner (and lunch) in separate dishes (tofu, beetroot, rice, sauces, carrots...), just ask. Very high quality, fresh, tasty. Food without garlic available, yeah! Food style is called ‚Afro fusion‘ which is to the point. Inside around 50 seats or so. Good drinks, beer, wine, coffee, excellent vegan chocolate (not chia) pudding (dessert). Central & safe area of town, easy to reach by public transport. Life music in the evening.
