Fantastic friendly quirky place - Edit
Great food, vegan options on most dishes. Hummus tomatoes avocado toast, meditation falafel salad and nachos. Independent small plant nursery selling my herbs and vegetables plants.

Lovely little cafe - Edit
Dad wanted to visit a plant nursery he hadn’t been to before so, seeing there was a vegan cafe, I had to bring him here!
Read moreIt was a lovely, cosy cafe. The lady was very nice and helpful. Dad had flapjack, my little man had a chocolate tart he said was very yummy and I had a piece of easily the best carrot cake I’ve tasted. Coffee was great too!
Looking forward to going back and trying the other food on the menu as it all sounded so good and reasonably priced too.
I definitely recommend this place!
Pros: Yummy cake , Lovely coffee, Cosy & friendly atmosphere
Cons: The compost loos!

Exceptionally beautiful welcoming space, very friendly staff despite being super busy. The cafe integrates with the amazing plant nursery. Much of menu vegan.

We found this on the way down to Devon on holiday, liked it so much we made sure we stopped by on our way home. We had a falafel wrap and coffee which was delicious!

A real find! Excellent vegan food. - Edit
We were visiting Knightshayes National Trust house with two of our Grandchildren where there was a long queue for a limited choice of vegan food at lunchtime - so we found Cafe Banana on Happy Cow and are so glad we did. Although the cafe looked rather “rustic” from the outside the friendly proprietors produced some really tasty and interesting food, making a special cheese and spinach toastie for our 4 year old Granddaughter. Our aubergine and chickpea stew was delicious, served with whole grain rice, and there was a good choice of cakes for afters to have with good coffee. Thoroughly recommended.

Thrilled to have found this lil treasure along side a lovely plant nursery. Really refreshing choices for lunch, feel nourished. Plus great options for rest of my family and lots of cake choices. Pretty much a vegan cafe with veggie options.

Second visit here for coffee and cake. 5 choices of cake, I had lemon sponge and my wife had carrot cake and enjoyed it so much bought another piece for later. Cafe also does lunch snacks all vegan. Owners are lovely. Only 7 outdoor tables but they put a heater on for us which was great on a chilly day. Prices very good. Cafe is part of a garden nursery which has a small range but has some rarely seen plants and shrubs.

Great cafe, good selection of sweet and savoury delicious vegan food. Friendly and welcoming. Great coffee, lovely outdoor seating area amidst the nursery plants. Would definitely recommend and will be back next time we’re in Devon. Definitely worth a detour if you’re in the area. And pick up a couple of plants from the nursery as well.

Nestled in the luscious surrounds of Withleigh nursaries, you'll find the most peaceful and unique cafe. Cheap and cheerful food, very delicious and well presented. Will visit again and again. A must try for lunch if you're in the area!

Cafe Banana provides delicious food at affordable prices. And the coffee is great with plenty of different options. Everything on the menu can be vegan and there is almost always a healthy option, plus naughty but very nice cakes! Melissa and Terry are really friendly too.

Cafe Banana is in a small plant nursery near Tiverton. The food is veggie, and mainly vegan - including a lovely selection of cakes. They offer a range of unusual teas as well as coffee, with a choice of plant milks.

Loved this little cafe situated in an equally lovely nursery. The staff were really helpful, the food was delicious with a great selection of vegan cakes. It was all very reasonably priced too. We will be back.
