Incredible salad - Edit
Great place! Lovely vibe, 3 vegan sweet options and at least 5 savoury, vegan items on the brunch menu too. Such tasty food, really pleased to have found this place

Great vegan options - Edit
Pleasantly surprised to find great vegan options in Gore of all places. Beautifully presented. Friendly staff who are happy to accommodate dietary requirements. I had the falafel wrap (highly recommended) and the peanut butter cup. Lots of sweet vegan options in the cabinet.

Gore’s most reliable vegan eatery - Edit
A small selection of vegan food is available every day. There’s not much choice, but at least you can go there knowing that there will be something that’s vegan friendly.

Cons: Lack of choice, esp if you want something savoury, Not much seating at peak times

It's more appearance than substance. - Edit
Happy to see „vegan available” promotion on the pavement I just popped in this cafe. But the staff had to ask in the kitchen first what they had to offer. It turned out that they had two savory options: falafel wrap 11,50 NZD and a potato-veggie-salad for 11,- NZD. I ordered the salad and asked if they can add some falafel balls. They did for additional cost what’s totally okay. The meal was good, the stuff friendly - but they should definitely overthink their attitude about promoting vegan options and the stuff isn’t up to date.
Read morePros: friendly stuff, adjustable meals, one of the few vegan options in Gore
Cons: stuff is not aware of their vegan options

Good Coffee - Edit
Stopped here for brunch on our way to Cannibal Bay, they made a really good coffee and authentic chai. Unfortunately there were no Vegan options on the menu, only on a request basis, I asked if they could make the porridge with Soy Milk and they did😄I couldn’t see any other options that could be made vegan.

Cons: Lack of vegan options.
