Serves meat, vegan options available. Limited veg food choices in this area, but at this Mexican restaurant, the vegetarian fajitas and enchiladas can be veganised upn request.
Manager Matt, Bartender Denise and Server Penny offered suggestions and helped us with selections for a WFPB meal with no oil. The Vegetarian Fajitas grilled with water instead of oil were very tasty. The addition of spinach, broccoli and mushrooms to the fajita mix added variety. A large salad with Pico rounded out the meal. Kudos to meeting our challenging lifestyle changes.
I recently went vegan because I already had an egg allergy and developed a dairy allergy. I went here for veggie fajitas. I already knew I probably couldn’t have tortillas or rice since they typically contain dairy. So I asked if my veggies could be cooked in oil rather than butter. I told them about my allergy before we even got a table to ensure it was going to be possible for me to eat there. I barely made it back to the condo before getting extremely sick. They “said”my food was cooked on the grill with water but it was clear that they either still used butter or they didn’t clean the butter off from the previous meal.
Not vegan and not really vegan friendly, per se, but there are not many options in the area. but the server was really nice in helping us find options and they were delicious. Refried beans and rice are not vegan but the black beans are. chips and salsa were delicious. Service was amazing.
I’ve lived here for 6 years now and I have found very few vegan options that don’t include French fries. But I frequent this place. I get the veggie nachos w no butter, no cheese, etc. the guacamole is great and the knockout margarita will do exactly that! Lol worth a try! I come all the time.
There was a small vegetarian section on the menu with 4 options, and could be made vegan if you ask for no dairy (except the quesadilla obviously). There were also two salad options that could be made vegan with the appropriate adjustments. The guacamole was delicious and generously sized, and they were happy to make it cilantro-free for the cilantro haters. Our server seemed happy to accommodate all our requests. I've had way better Mexican food other places, but given the choices in this area, I was happy to find it.
