Loved it - Edit

Went 3 times. Had tacos, butternut squash enchiladas and portobello mushroom fajitas, all vegan-adapted . All really nice, only con is that the rice and portobello were reeaaally salty. Mexican lemonade was lovely. Staff were too.

Pros: Delicious food, Lovely staff, Quick to sit at bar even when busy

I went with the butternut squash enchiladas without cheese and had them add some portobello mushrooms on there. They put a bunch of Porto’s on there! It was a little hard to find but definitely recommend

Bad service, good food - Edit

My friends and I were not very pleased with the service we received. First off, the waiter was a bit deceptive, as he asked us whether we would like some chips with salsa and guacamole. We agreed because we thought they'd be complimentary. It turned out the tiny bowl of guacamole we received was $9 and the chips and salsa were $4. Also, our food was brought out to the wrong table! The table hadn't even placed their order, and they had the nerve to claim our food. The waiter was almost about to let them have our food before another waiter corrected the mistake.

Service issues aside, the food was pretty good. I really enjoyed my portabella mushroom fajitas. The mushroom was so juicy and tender. The other things it came with, including the rice, fajita veggies, pico de gallo, and guacamole, were flavorful as well. The portion was quite big too. I was also pleasantly surprised that the food did not upset my stomach. I was having digestive issues that day and was worried Mexican food would exacerbate them but fortunately the food seemed to agree with my body. It was nice how it was flavorful without being spicy.

The jackfruit tinga tacos are really delicious. Love the fresh house-made corn tortillas. Ordering a side of pico de gallo is so worth it! It’s so fresh and tasty. Did not know what to expect here for the vegan options, but turns out it’s very good and the quality of food is good also.
