$1.25 upcharge oat milk in small latte - Edit

First thing I want to mention is that there are multiple Buunni Coffee locations. This one is within the bus station. For some reason the one that is farther away kept coming up for me on HappyCow so really had to search to find this one.
The first thing I saw when we got here was a flat $1.25 upcharge for oat milk and $1.00 extra for almond milk. That is always irritating to me, especially since I got the smallest size latte and it was such a small amount of milk, so coffee went from $5 to $6.25.
There are pre-made injera wraps, we got the spicy lentil wrap and the mild split pea one. They sounded delicious but they were not, I love Ethiopian food, but these were soggy, cold and flavorless.
We got the vegan gluten-free banana bread as well, I thought it was really good, dense and moist.
There is quite a bit of seating that is pretty comfortable. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 3 is because there are very slim pickings around here for vegan fare so grateful for anything.
#edit note: the leftover injera wraps were delicious heated up for a minute in the microwave with some hot sauce later at home.

Found this place by accident while waiting for the bus. The staff was very knowledgeable and knew what was vegan. The lemon pistachio pastry I bought was amazing!!!

Solid little coffee shop while in transit - Edit

It’s always nice to have a cute coffee shop in a busy transit terminal. Buunni is ideal because it has so many vegan options! Highly recommend the matcha and cold brew.
