Gross cross contamination - Edit
I’m 6 years vegan but my partner is flexitarian. He eats chicken when we go out sometimes. We went to burrito famous and he was getting a chicken bowl and I was getting veggie. The worker lined our things up next to each other and grabbed the chicken spoon dragged it across mine and got a ton of chicken juice all over mine.

Pros: There are options if desperate
Cons: Cross contamination , Unsanitary, Food was subpar (according to partner) anyway

awesome! - Edit
I've come here too many times to count and even introduced my family to this place. The staff and service is always good and the food is awesome! It's my go to place whenever we eat out. I never get tired of it! They have amazing salsa and different sauces. The tempeh is a great meat alternative. Everything is always fresh and tasty! Excellent food for the price (and more options than chipotle!) and I would highly recommend this place to others.

Love this place - Edit
We have visited Burrito Famous multiple times and have been pleased every time. From their friendly staff to the many fresh options available. The options available are much better than comparible places. Pineapple, spinach, lettuce, olives, cilantro, salsa, corn, jalepenos, tomatoes, peppers, onions, avacado and guac. The chili lime sauce is vegan despite what another reviewer wrote (must be referring to the garlic lime sauce which is not vegan) and we've always gotten large portions. Tempeh and plantains are great vegan options for your meal that you don't get most places. Can highly recommend!

no - Edit
Vegans have to choose between a tiny scoop of guac, fried plantains or tempeh on their veggie bowls/burritos/salads. Some of the carnivorous options contain eggs AND bacon AND potatoes (for the same price as a veggie option) so the price is absolutely absurd for what you get. I ended up paying over $10 for a veggie bowl with rice, beans and a variety of subway quality vegetables with a tiny scoop of guac and some mediocre chips. Plus, all of their sauces had ranch/mayo, even the chili lime one that the other vegan reviewer ate. There was nothing flavorful or tasty about my meal. I was also charged extra for salsa (?????) Just go to Chipotle instead.

super fresh ingredients - Edit
Build your own burrito, bowl, or salad. Serves meat but they have good tempeh and plantains available. Very nice selection of fresh veggie toppings including a hot habanero/mango salsa that is super yummy! Numerous sauces to top it off. Try the chili lime, it's a favorite of many! We've eaten here at least a dozen times now and have never been disappointed. Excellent service every visit as well. Definitely a better option than the "big" franchises that rush you through with less options. Tired of being rushed? Try these guys!
