A vegan section! - Edit
An airport restaurant with a vegan section?! 🙌 You can imagine my surprise. The ‘very veggie burrito’ totally hit the spot - it’s HUGE and grilled and delicious.
Read moreMy friend got a rice bowl with veggies and was disappointed with the portion size. So I’d recommend going for the burrito if you’ve got an appetite or you’re unsure about the vegan plane food situation. Either way, don’t skip on Burrito Beach when you’re at ORD.

Pros: 3 vegan menu items, knowledgeable servers, reasonable airport pricing for portion size
Cons: Guac costs extra

Super good and super quick - Edit
We got rerouted so our vegan plane meal was not going to be available on a 5 hour flight. We stopped here and got guac tacos and a burrito so we could have some real food on what turned out to be a 27 hour travel day. The tacos were so good we wished we’d ordered more. The burrito was huge and also very delicious.

Can’t complain for an airport option - Edit
So rare to have an airport option have a designated vegan section. The food was good, nothing to write home about. But definitely the go to stop in this terminal

Pretty good - Edit
Pretty good Very Veggie burrito from one of a couple of labeled vegan options in an airport terminal with otherwise v. slim vegan offerings. Got mine w pickled jalapeños which gave it a nice kick.

Solid option for vegans - Edit
I enjoy Mexican food, so definitely appreciated the presence of this place during a busy airport routine. The vegan burrito is labeled clearly, and the staff made sure it stayed vegan. Tasted good...large portion, saved some for later.

Quick and tasty - Edit
A solid option for airport food. They have a small vegan section of their menu. Highly suggest finding this place if you have any significant layover or are in the H and K concourses.

Big portion, vegan options labeled - Edit
The servers know what's vegan and what's not. Generous portions and not a bad price for airport food. You get guac for free on a black bean burrito.

Surprisingly good - Edit
Clearly marked vegan options, including a very veggie vegan burrito. I don't love fajita style veggies in my burrito and was glad they had a classic beans and rice option, which comes with guacamole (it's $2.50 extra to add it to the veggie burrito). Then you can add lettuce, salsas, sorn, onions/cilantro as you move down the line (Chipotle style). My expectations were low and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was! This is my second time here and both times the line was super long, but don't be daunted -- it moves fast.

As fresh as you’re going to get in an airport. - Edit
It’s not pretty but it was filling and the freshest option at the airport. I like the selection in their mixed veggies. There was kale, zucchini, yellow squash, red peppers, grilled onions.

Killer Veggie Burrito - Edit
Had a layover at O’Hare and was worried that I wouldn’t find good vegan food. Burrito Beach eased my worries. The Vegan Veggie Burrito was amazing. So tasty. The chips and guac were delish too. The service sucked but the guy was probably frustrated to be working during the Super Bowl.

Basically chipotle - Edit
Located in the food court. Line can get long at times, as some menu items are made-to-order, but moved fast for me. You can make your own burrito, tacos, or bowl and go down the line and add what you like - or they have pre-set vegan options on the menu board. No vegan protein, cheese, etc but they do have fajita veggies that have zucchini along with peppers and onions. Quinoa and avocado available for upcharge. They griddled my burrito on both sides which really made it that much better. Instead of spinach, like on the menu board, they only had romaine lettuce - but it was clean and fresh. They serve alcohol as well. The smoothie place closes earlier than the Burrito Beach

My happy place in the hellhole that is ORD - Edit
This place is a) delicious and b) super knowledgeable on vegan stuff and allergies. We were stuck in the airport for 24 hours and went back 3 different times. For airport food, it’s pretty cheap and worth the price regardless.

Beware of vegan menu section - Edit
At first glance, this seems to be a dream spot for a vegan. However, I was made aware that the grilled veggies are grilled on the same grill with the meat. This is unacceptable. I then tried to get them to substitute the grilled veggies for beans or more quinoa and they told me that no changes could be made from the vegan portion of the menu.
