Worth sitting in traffic for - Edit
I tried this restaurant having dined at Burma Burma in Mumbai earlier in my trip. I was not disappointed.
Read moreI had the lotus stem crisps (very nicely spiced), chilly tangy chickpea tohu (not to be confused with tofu, but nonetheless delicious and so well-textured), and China Town noodles (with added tofu). The portions were large. I had a lime cooler to drink.
The dishes were superlative and the drink complemented the meal nicely.
The concept (Burmese vegetarian/vegan food with some fusion elements) is executed astonishingly well.
I would have liked to try a different salad and some curries. Next time!
Service was exceptionally good. My waiter was really attentive and very happy to make recommendations as well as serve from the dish into my plate as I devoured the noodles.
The restaurant was very busy. It is in a shopping centre. I suggest making a reservation unless you are dining early. It is some way from the centre of Delhi but a pretty convenient stop on the way to or from the airport. Beware of traffic - but this restaurant is well worth a trip and is probably ideal if you are shopping in the locality.
This is my new favourite vegetarian/vegan restaurant in India.
As mentioned in my previous review, double-check vegan ingredients, since the vegan menu is inaccurate. Do not let that put you off though. There is plenty of choice for vegans and I do not think you will be disappointed.

Tasty food and quality service - Edit
Went here for our last night in India. It’s located in a high end shopping mall although the restaurant space is nice. The prices are quite high but worth it for a treat. We got some small plates: taro tacos with spicy black bean, crusted tofu and banana flower croquettes. We also got some BBQ Jackfruit sticky rice and some Mocktails. Came with some nice dipping sauces. Ask for the vegan menu- it’s the same menu but they’ve clearly labelled which items are vegan, gluten free and Jain

Great tea and vegan options - Edit
Ask for the vegan menu! The staff knows vegan and can provide a menu specifically marked with options that can be made vegan. Don't miss the pickled mustard soup! Everything we got was delicious and it was a nice ambiance inside. The tea service was exceptional.

Best Restaurant in the city - Edit
One of the best vegetarian restaurant in India serving international cuisine. Burma Burma provides authentic Burmese cuisine in many cities in India. All of their dishes are top-notch, hearty and filling. It should definitely be a part of everyone's must-place-list. #Veganuary

Love it!!! - Edit
We’ve been to Burma Burma twice - both times, we’ve had the most amazing food! Although the restaurant is in a mall, it’s easy to forget the location because of the decor and atmosphere. The service is highly professional and attentive.
Read moreOur favourite dish is the mock meat salad, and we also love the mock duck and potato curry, with long grain rice. On our first visit, we had Seitan skewers (again - delicious) and more recently we tried a noodle dish called Taunguiy Shan Khowsuey and a starter called Wa Potato - both fab!!!
They only have one vegan dessert - mango coconut ice cream - but as long as you’re happy with that combination, I would recommend giving it a try. Not only does it taste great, but it also provides some culinary theatre as it arrives in a dish of some kind of dry ice.
It’s not the cheapest place to eat, but I think it provides incredible value for money given the quality and quantity of the food, the excellent service and the surroundings. I can’t wait to go back!
Pros: Excellent and imaginative vegan options, Wonderful service, Beautiful restaurant
Cons: Not fully vegan

YUM! - Edit
Incredible food & great service. Just ask for the vegan/gluten free menu, so many choices and all of them look amazing. They even have mock meat which is delicious. Bit expensive... But well worth it if you're not on too much of a budget.
