Came here for a quick bite and turned out to be a great bargain. Got the utopia beetroot burger, onion rings and nuggets for €11.50. The burger was really tasty, the nuggets were a meat substitute that wasn’t super dense and the onion rings weren’t too fatty. They also have a fridge of the burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches and even vegan Spanish tortilla to take away if you needed to stock up.

We really enjoyed our food here. They offer a lot of options at a really good price. The menu online offers suggestions for the additional topping combinations so we ordered two burgers from those along with a side of papas locas and croquetas.
Read moreAll of the food tasted good and was very filling. I’ve never had raw cabbage in a burger but it worked well.
They also have a fridge where they sell food to takeaway including their own brand vegan meat replacements which you can also find in supermarkets, along with desserts.
It’s not the most amazing food I’ve ever had but it was still really nice and worth going.

Came to eat quickly a burger. The spinach was a good one, exactly as expected. Also the juice was nice, we had difficulty explaining which flavour in Spanish, but she offered to make a mix of different flavours and that tasted perfect.

100% vegan fast food, medium quality, the restaurant needs some renovation. Staff couldn't speak English. Good price! 20 euros for a Mel menu plus dish of the day full portion, water, onion rings and nuggets.

We came back 3 times during our 11 day stay in Puerto Cruz. You've got to go there! The only weak part is the terrace at a narrow busy street, but you can always sit inside the bar.

I like to go to Mel when I feel like eating hot dogs, I love the ones with beets or spinach. The rest of the food is quite good, they are not the best burgers I have eaten, but they are very tasty.

Restaurant is open since 1985, but I guess the location is new. It looks a bit like a hospital. They have big menu with burgers, hot dogs and snacks. Desserts and cocktails also available. There is also a shop here.
Read moreBurgers was big, but not really good. Bun was soft, onion too sweet, unbelievable amound of cabbage and almost no spices... I haven't finished my burger. Serving was a disaster - for two big burgers we had just one tray and a bunch of napkins.
Staff don't understand English even if you tell the English name of the dish which is on a big board in front of the bar.
My boyfriend liked the food tho.
Pros: Onion rings with mayo was good.
Cons: Bad serving.

One of many Burger Mel locations around Santa Cruz, conveniently located if you have to visit some of the government buildings close by. Looks newly renovated, good prices for tasty fast food. As with all Burger Mel locations ensure you chose their burgers and hot dogs with extra sauces or ingredients as the standard servings are very "dry"

I also tried a hot dog, but I like the burgers better.
The place is friendly, they have a nice menu... juices, smothies, etc.
