Best vegan fast food

This is absolutely stunning. Tasty, cheap, vegan, aligns your chakras.

It's in no way healthy for your body, but your soul will thank you for it.

Expectations VS Reality…

At first, I was pretty impressed about this full vegan Burger King. There are many options which is always good but the final products were a bit disappointing…
We went there on a saturday night during the rush hour (not the best Time) and ordered the « PB bakon double cheezburger » and « The vegan royale ».

The vegan royale (« Chicken » and « mayo » burger) was actualy pretty amazing: great texture, good flavors.
But the bacon double cheese burger… Soooo disappointing. Did not look like the picture AT all, super flat and dry « steaks », one little piece of bacon and no sauce AT all = super dry burger

The fries (or chips) were good, maybe a bit too salty but freshly cooked.

My conclusion: choose the « chicken » burgers and drop the « beef » burgers

Burger King - Vegan Pop Up

I had never had a Burger King Whopper in my entire life (and I am American!), so, when I saw this 100% vegan Burger King pop-up I had to try an original.

I wish I would have known that you have to request vegan cheese if you would like that added to the burger. I guess this is something I would have known if I had a Whopper previously. I suggest adding vegan cheese to add more flavor.

The only reason why I did not give 4 or 5 stars is because the patty tasted like a Boca burger, it wasn't great. The bun could have been a little softer too, mine was a little dry. The thing that I honestly loved was the fact the burger came with *American dill pickles*, which are so impossible to find in the UK. The french fries were not great and lacked flavor.

It was fine for me to try this once. While the pricing was very reasonable compared to smaller local places and UK chains (at 7.49 GBP for a combo), I'd rather spend the extra 3-5 GBP on Neat Burger, Halo Burger, or some of the other local vegan options over Burger King's offering. Burger King should really consider using the Beyond Meat patty or something else. The flavor and texture of the patty currently is not great.

Pop up store in central LDN

Great buzz both times I visited this pop store whilst visiting London. Great menu and all vegan! Last time I had a BK was 14 years ago, it’s great to see the vegan movement getting mainstream! Make sure you visit while it’s open for a full month trial I think?

Get it while you can!

Burger King are really excelling in the vegan fast food space atm! They've committed to going 50% plant-based by 2030 and turning their flagship store vegan for a month is a clear sign they mean business. The store is fully vegan with an extensive menu including a selection of whoppers, chicken burgers (created by The Vegetarian Butcher!) and sides including chilli cheese bites and onion rings.
I've already tried Burger King's Vegan Royale and Vegan Nuggets (currently available at all their stores) and they're both very impressive, so I was very excited to come to the first all vegan branch!
I went with my girlfriend and we got the Vegan Katsu Royale, Plant-based Bakon Double Cheeeze XL, Vegan Chilli Cheeeze bites, Plant-based Onion Rings and Vegan Fries.
Firstly, the Katsu Royale was really good - even better than I expected, and stole the show for me. The 'chicken' patty was really tasty and it had crispy onions which added a lovely crunch. The Bakon Double Cheeeze XL was also tasty, but had no sauce so was a bit on the dry side. I added bbq sauce to it which made it a lot juicier and tastier. The Cheeeze bites were also really good - the cheese was lovely and melty. I'm not good with spice so the chilli was a bit much for me but my girlfriend said the bites were her favourite part of our meal! The fries and onion rings were also tasty and a great side to the meal.
All in all very tasty and I'd definitely recommend coming down here before it closes on the 10th April and reverts back to a regular Burger King!
Also, as an extra note for Burger King branches generally, I'd recommend downloading the app as it has LOADS of great discount offers for their vegan food. For example you can get a Vegan Royale for £1.99 every Monday (instead of £4.99!) and recently there was even a voucher for a free Vegan Royale without even a purchase! Definitely worth downloading!

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Really tasty, Lots of offers on the app

Cons: Only around for a month

WOW WOW WOW WOW

i’m literally in shock. It is absolutely amazing there are so many options its not even like theyve restricted the menu - maybe 9 types of burgers with fake meats and cheeses and then sides including chicken nuggets, onion rings and chilli cheese bites. Big and spacious and literally the flagship store on Leicester Square itself. Amazing

I added this today and I could not believe my eyes when I read it was all-vegan!! What an experience you had!!! The first & only all-vegan Burger King in the world and you got to go??!! So excited for you. I added to the listing that it is a pilot and just temporary. Let's hope it catches on and lots of people go there!!!!
