Greasy confort food - Edit
It's good, yes it is! But please don't ever go there is you want to eat something light, it's a place to indulge in comforting and savoury food such as burgers, fries and fried food! Enjoy

What a disaster - Edit
Thanks to the unclear menu I got the smashburger in stead of impossible burger.
Read moreNot only was it filled with 2 ingredients I cannot have, it was also just a bad bad taste. They even had the guts to say "but yeah, it's vegan". I know, I' ve been vegan for 7 years, this is not my first burger. And "I should have given you options". Yes you should have. In stead you made me pay for something I am allergic to.
Absolutely a waste of money.
Pros: Nice vibes, Free water
Cons: Expensive, Menu is confusing

Good food - Edit
I had the Fiancé burger, it was good, but as many people have mentioned, it was verrrrry greasy. We got some waffle fries and milkshakes, both were yummy.

What a fun find! - Edit
Cool and unassuming little burger joint. We had the Smash burger, the Fiancé "pulled pork", onion rings and waffle fries. The Pulled pork and burger were absolutely amazing, with just the right amount of grease to make it finger licking good. Highly recommended for a short pit stop for the weary Old-Montreal shopper. And close to LOV on McGill so you get a few restaurant choices nearby if you dont quite dig the funky pink decor!

A little extra but we don’t hate it - Edit
I agree with another reviewer that it’s a little too greasy/extra, I feel like they could tone it down a tiny notch. It’s good, but when you can barely taste what looks like a really great batter on the fried chicken, it’s a little disappointing. The kimchi fries weren’t great, maybe I don’t like kimchi though… it just doesn’t transport well so I suggest dining in for this restaurant. Maybe it would be better overall that way…to be tested! :)

Yummy comfort food! - Edit
Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures because it was all so delicious and we ate it all without any thoughts!! I love their vegan chicken.. The seasoning and everything make it taste exactly how you want vegan chicken to taste. The kimchi fries are tasty, and the pulled pork sandwich was very flavourful!

Gross, save your money - Edit
The food was so bland that none of us could force down any more. Longtime vegan here and I felt like there were trying to overcompensate for the lack of animal products with extra grease. So disappointed because there were so many better restaurants I could have gone to

Best burger I've eaten - Edit
Amongst the many began burgers I've tried locally and aboard, they fiancé burger was the best. The sauce is amazing and the fake shiitake bacon is crazy : I hate mushrooms and there's no way in hell you'll make me forget that I'm eating one, even if you try to make it into something else. The only exception is their bacon. I don't understand how their provide managed to make such a transformation, it's undescribable.

Good burgers - Edit
Burger Fiancé was created by the team of Kupfert & Kim and Hello123 which I both love, so I had a lot of expectations. It actually replaces the Kupfert & Kim on Notre-Dame street. They sell the impossible burger which is still very rare in Quebec. It’s probably why they were extremely busy even on the middle of a friday afternoon. I had to wait for 25 mins to get my order. I had the fried chicken sandwich for 12$. Even though it seems to be the average price in other places as well, I feel like 12$ is expensive for a small burger with no sides. The burger was good, but a little bit overcooked. I think they were overwhelmed by all the orders and maybe not prepared to be instantly so popular (the restaurant opened on march 17th). Also, even though I talk english and french, I was deceived the cashier wasn’t able to get my order in French which is the official language in Quebec. Anyhow, I will go back in a little while to try something else.

I have always said that Montreal is missing some good vegan fast food. I have ordered from Burger Fiancé multiple times since it opened and FINALLY got to go eat on their terrace yesterday. The service

Étant donné la situation avec la covid-19, c'est que du take out. Mais c'est de la bonne bouffe réconfortante. Le burger fiancé avec la galette maison est très bon.
