This place had some great choices. Comfort food and pretty heavy meals. We had the crispy chicken burger, pulled pork Mac and cheese and kimchi dog.

I’ve eaten here twice now (once in person and once for takeout). I prefer in-person but that’s no surprise. A lot of what they sell doesn’t hold up to delivery. The first time I went I found it pretty good. The house-made burger is really nice. The second time I got the pulled pork and wasn’t as impressed, because the texture was all wrong. It seemed like BBQ sauce on the Paradis Vegetarian shiitake chicken rather than something more shredded like jackfruit or tofu skin. The milkshakes are nice but nothing that you can’t get from other vegan burger places in MTL. The kimchi fries are pretty legit though.
Read moreI feel like I would need to give it one more shot to decide on a true rating. My first experience was 4-stars and my takeout experience was more like 3-stars, so a lot would depend on what you order and how you receive it. I wouldn’t recommend take-away for the price.

Delicious in-house burgers and chicken sandwiches - Edit
Our meals came quickly and were delicious. We ordered the classic buger, the hot dog, and the chicken sandwich. All three were very good. The oat milkshake was very satisfying. Only criticism was the Waffle fries could have been a bit crisper, but that is just personal preference.

Great place for the whole family - Edit
We were visiting Montreal and this was the first place we tried. I had the “chicken” burger and my husband had the spicy one. Both were really delicious! Our child had a kids cheeseburger and it wasn’t that great. We also had the cauliflower wings, which were pretty good but not what we expected as they had a cumin flavour. Would definitely come here again when we return to Montreal.

Had dinner here and it all felt kind of weird. The staff was inattentive and often off somewhere else or just chatting among themselves. There was no toilet roll in either toilet stall and several food items were not available. Overall it felt like the place was on the verge of shutting down. The food itself was good with the exception of the Caesar salad, which was too salty to eat.

We split the Classic Dog, Mac n Cheese, and Soul Mate burger with their housemade burger. Everything is delicious, and since it’s near our hotel, we will be working our way through the menu. And of course, we will try poutine.

We started with Cauliflower bites and Waffle fries. The cauliflower was not too flavorful, and the BBQ dipping sauce was fine. The waffle fries were super crispy; definitely the winner. My husband had the Souvlaki pita. He said it was very good, with really good pita bread and sauce. I had the Soul Mate burger. Tasty patty, frash yummy toppings and sauce. Great price for the city, and quick service.

We sampled lots of vegan restaurants in Toronto, but this was one of the few we went back to (3 visits total in a week). First, if you've never tried poutine (and we hadn't) this place delivers. Waffle fries, vegan cheese curds, and gravy. Chef's kiss. The soul mate was my favorite burger, but my husband tried several others and all were good. I had the kale Caesar a couple of times. If you get the fried chicken type thing on top, u get a lot of it and it is very fried. Great if you like that, but the salad is lovely without it. Only difference I might make next time is to get the dressing on the side. Consistent, friendly service, air conditioned space.

I will give this restaurant another shot, but the burger I received (Devotion) was hella soggy and oily, all of it, even the bun. I couldn't finish it, I was feeling a bit sick. Service was good, no complaints there.

Absolutely delicious pulled pork mushroom sandwich!! We wanted to try the poutine but they happened to be out when we visited. The cauliflower was a great substitute, and the brownie a la mode was the perfect cherry on top.

Really good range of options, including a whole host of different types of burgers, sides and deserts. Options for house patty or the impossible burger, which was nice. Reasonably priced for Montreal, so overall a good choice.

Want to satisfy a fast food craving? GO HERE! I was not expecting this! We were looking for a place to eat not too far from the Old Port and we came across this restaurant! Wow! I don’t have the words. I shared a poutine and a devotion burger and it was everything a good old fast food joint could promise, and VEGAN! I will definitely be back here when in Montreal.

Even though the restaurant was only half full and it was past lunch time - so pass the rush one would think - the waitress who welcomed us was NOT PLEASED to see us arrive… I think that is the only negative point of my experience… it was easy enough to fit 6 people and a baby on 2 tables, but she really made us feel like this was not ok and we should have turned away. I’m glad we didn’t, but still!)

Came on a rainy Sunday lunchtime but a real warm welcome. Great menu and nice ambience inside. Had the Tokyo burger with fries - perfect. Possibly the best plant-based burger I’ve had. And the fries were good. The milk shakes sound worth a try but I didn’t!
