Okay viet food - Edit
Ambiance and staff are very nice and welcoming.
Read moreAlmost half the menu can be made vegan, as these dishes require to choose ingredients. Food is good, but I must say I’ve had better vietnamese food in the city. Pho was a bit lacking.

Very good bun nam - Edit
There were a few vegan and vegetarian options and what I got was very good! I had the vegan bun nam and it was both filling and delicious 🤤 the drinks (i had both lemonade and sangria) however were a little too small for my liking

Westernized Vietnamese Food - Edit
It's great that you can have vegan options of various dishes. Sadly the pho had a lot and unusual ingredients. The curry was tasty but heavy. The spring rolls are good but not what we expected from Vietnamese cuisine. It's nicely decorated (just some obnoxious flies) and service is friendly.

Great food - Edit
We found this place whilst trying to escape the rain and it was the perfect place to dry off and fuel up. The spring rolls weren’t anything special but the summer rolls and vegan pho were tasty. Not badly priced and the staff are nice. Helps to know some Spanish here.

Super fresh - Edit
I would give this 4 stars except there was not much flavour to the noodle bowl. All the veggies were super fresh though. Very glad to find some vegan options in Barcelona. Next to The Kiss mural. Great location.

Vegan in Bun Bo - Edit
Not many vegan options on the menu. I was a bit disappointed because the waiter brought me a salad with chicken, though surely I did not order the one with meat.

Yummy food and fairly priced - Edit
They have quite many vegan options, I had the pho and it was really nice. The prices are fair (10.45 for the pho and 4.3 for a mojito) and the service super quick :)

Comida Vietnamita - Edit
Cons: No tienen postre vegano

Vegan options but very boring taste - Edit
I went there with my boyfriend for dinner. We had the spring rolls with vegetarian fish sauce and also two currys. The spring rolls tasted quite good but we both were very disappointed about the curry. It tasted like nothing - like they forgot to add any spices.

worst experience since years - Edit
I love vietnamese food so I went there.
Read moreIt was the worst experience in a vietnamese restaurant for years.
I took the menu of the day. I said that I was vegan, I read in the reviews that someone else was handed a special menu then. I wasn´t given that.
Some items are labelled with a green "V" but it doesn´t say anywhere, if it means vegetarian or vegan. I doubt now, that my menu was vegan.
The waiter also didn´t bother to tell me that there was no vegan dessert. I got a bowl of pineapple pieces.
The summer roll (starter) was ok, the sauce was much worse in taste than I know it from other places.
The curry with coconut milk was ok but nothing like the taste I love when I go to a vietnamese restaurant. Besides, it was so hot that I burnt my tongue because I didn´t want to wait till it´s right temperature.
Tofu or any vegan meat supplement would cost extra.
The place is also designed very weird, seems to me that nothing fits together. And they played old rock songs, glad that it was turned down after a while.
Just no place I would like to stay longer as I need to.
Can´t relate to what is written before.
As any standard vietnamese restaurant is better than this I don´t know why it is on happy cow.
It´s ok that these places exist, but why should a site that is engaging veganism list it?
Cons: very limited vegan items, taste worse than I am used to, bad music, weird design

Fantastic - Edit
In a sea of patatas bravas and paella this place seemed like a mirage, 90% of the food can be easily veganised by adding tofu or dropping the fish sauce. The venue itself is lovely, decorated with a nod to Vietnam rather than a full on theatrical show. The staff were all super friendly and the food came fast and piping hot, the prices are really fair, considering they are based in central Barcelona and the cocktails were great and value for money. I’d say it was a hidden gem but people were queuing for a table. So it’s definitely a gem albeit a well known one. I will be going again as were here for the next three days and eating as a vegan in this city has been quiet hard to be honest, which has been a surprise, after four days this is the first I’ll go to bed feeling like I’ve had my fill. I would give five stars if I could but the app won’t let me.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere - Edit
This place was really nice and straight opposite our hotel (Hotel Barcelona Catedral). We ordered the soup and chose the larger portion (don’t do that if you’re having a main meal as it was huge!). It was really nice. We chose the tofu curry for main. To be fair it was like a lumpier version of the soup however I asked for fresh chillies to spice it up a bit. They don’t skimp on the tofu here so it was great! Not much choice for vegans but the stuff we had was tasty.

Limited vegan options - Edit
A nice, popular restaurant but with very limited vegan options. There was a short waiting list but we managed to get a table outside in 5 minutes on a Thursday evening. When asking for vegan options, they brought me a separate menu which specified all different allergens. I had a curry for the main which was ok. There were no vegan options for starters nor desserts so we had to move to a nearby cafe&ice cream shop so that I could also get a dessert.
