Amazing Haitian Food & Sweets - Edit
I haven’t had much Haitian food but wow the Jerk Mac & Cheese was amazing. Light but flavorful. They popped up in Gainesville and wish I could’ve tried more! Also their sweets are amazing. Recommended the Turtle Brownie and that was a 10/10. The chef even makes the caramel?!?! If you find yourself at one of their pop ups, RUN to try their food 😍

Authentic Haitian Flavors Meet Vegan Cuisine at This Must-Try Restaurant - Edit
I was so impressed with the Haitian Vegan Restaurant at Vegan Block Party! The food was absolutely delicious, and the flavors were so authentic. I started with the djon djon, mac and cheese, which was creamy and flavorful, with just the right amount of spice. The griot was also amazing, made with jackfruit that was so tender and flavorful. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious vegan food.

When Buku vegan popped up by my job I was happy because I could get the very best peanut butter cookie cake slices within 2 minutes but also concerned because I could get the very best peanut butter cookie slices within 2 minutes. I rarely tell myself no and I have no regrets. The owner of Buku is so sweet and really pours her heart into her food. Every single thing on the menu is full of flavor and artfully designed. No ingredient is an afterthought. We are so lucky to have her in central Florida.

Buku is inside the cutest little shop selling kombucha and local art from the area. Jenny and her staff are amazing. The food always has a great presentation and multiple dessert options. I recommend it everyone! I’m here at least once a week. 😛

Buku vegan has some of the most incredible food I’ve ever eaten in my life. The owner is amazing and I have loved watching her and her business grow over the years. I HIGHLY recommend giving Buku vegan a try. It will quickly become one of your new go-to spots for a delicious meal and a good time.

If I could give a hunnid stars I would !! Chef Jenny puts your whole fooooooot into her dishes and they are seriously made with so much love, flavor and just overall deliciousness. Love everything on the menu but top items are the jackfruit (OMFG), djon djon, piklis, s’mores cookie pie (SHEESH), beet potato salad and the Mac & cheeese.

The favor is, to get you tush up, drive to this wonderful restaurant address, and make your insides SATISFIED! Today I did this favor for my self! ITS CALLED! (SELF CARE!!))) this food was absolutely delish; and worth the 30min drive I took! The bean burger was a fresh air, it was succulent, with a nice crunch. The banana foster cheesecake was a total tastebud orgasm 🤤, and the pork jackfruit with the picklies was the right spice to get this back up mucous moving? Do this for your health!!! Support this necessity of a small business and asset to our vegan community!!

Really easy to find, such a beautiful unique shop, so much nature and fun shopping. I ordered the mac and cheese because of all of the good reviews I saw, and I do think it lived up to the hype-it was very good! I also got the s’mores cookie slice and it was also very good.

They have a different meal option per day. I went on a day when they had tacos and they were delicious! The place is easy to miss because there is no sign with the name. It's inside a shared space with 2 other businesses, with a cute atmosphere.

I have been to many vegan spots all over Orlando and Buku Vegan is BY far the best Vegan food I have had. The Chef brings SO many creative, unique and tasteful dishes to the table. She is friendly, professional and talented. I highly recommend you stop in and see her when you’re in the area because you wouldn’t want to miss out on her amazing foods!!

Drove 40 minutes to give this place a try and it was well worth it. The breakfast burrito was so delicious and very filling. I tried the smores cookie cake as well and it was amazing.
