pretty good burritos - Edit
Service: ?/5, Quality: 3/5, Value: 3/5
Read moreVegan Options: 3/5
Overall: Pretty good burritos, I'd go there again and would be OK recommending it to friends.
Further:
Service- Unrated. Food is ordered at counter and picked up at counter. Service is otherwise what you'd expect from other similar restaurants, with burritos made fairly quickly.
Quality- I ordered the East/West burrito with seitan and it was pretty good, though the burritos were notably notably missing a foil wrap to help hold them together. Once my burrito fell apart, it was less good since getting the proportion of burrito + filling was difficult. It also just made for a very messy meal but fortunately my friends didn't mind me roleplaying barbarian. Their seitan was also pretty good fwiw.
Value- About what you'd expect cost wise compared to similar restaurants. Burrito wasn't as big comparable restaurants' burritos, but it was reasonably filling.
Vegan Options- This restaurant met 3 of my 5 criteria:
[X] More than 1 vegan option exists on the menu
[X] Menu had clearly labelled Vegan options
[X] at least 1 vegan option in multiple menu categories.
I would have liked to have seen more vegan options in other categories, such as quesadillas with vegan cheese and seitan. Having a few vegan quesadilla options would have raised the vegan options score to 4/5.

Delicious - Edit
Quick great food. Sometimes I go to places because I know the food is consistently good. They have a vegetarian broth with seitan that is delicious. I just ask for it with no dairy.

Now with vegan queso!! - Edit
Huge, healthy, and so good. They recently started offering vegan queso, free to swap for cheese and only $0.25 to add it to something.

every day man - Edit
I eat here too much. There is just something about a good, huge burrito from Bueno. Recently, I found that they put too much lettuce in at the noho location, so I ask for that to be left out as well. Specify no cheese! I haven't had any problems with them messing up my order or cross contaminating, and I have a dairy allergy. The seitan is totally worth ponying up the extra 3 bucks.

Cons: a little pricey

Good inexpensive burritos - Edit
Bueno Y Sano is great for a quick, filling burrito. Specify NO CHEESE when you order. White rice is also stuffed into the burrito, you can ask to omit that as well. Whole wheat wraps are available upon request.
Read moreBasic burritos include rice, beans, lettuce, pico de gallo, and cheese. The menu board lists additions such as sauteed spinach and garlic, sauteed mushrooms, seitan, and guacamole, each for a specified extra charge.
Salad is also available, as well as chips and salsa. Do not hesitate to repeat your order, and to check the wrapped burrito to make sure it is as ordered before you leave.
Tuesdays ("Fat Tuesdays") you can upgrade the size of your burrito to a "grande" for free. Check the board to see if the addition of roasted garlic, if requested, is free.
Pros: Fast food, Filling portions, Many vegan options
Cons: Need to check your order for mistakes
