I liked the vibes and atmosphere of the restaurant. It was clean overall. Staff was welcoming and helpful. I would come back. I'm sad they don't have a location in Los Angeles.

Midtown Gem - Edit
I was able to walk here for dinner while staying at an airbnb in midtown. Had the steak bowl. It was delicious. Great place to grab a bite in Sacramento with local roots supporting other local businesses!

One of my favorites in Sacramento. The atmosphere is amazing, real plants on the wall, wood tables, the teas all handmade and so delicious with real died fruit and chia seeds! The food is amazing! Love the buns!

Read moreBetter Meat has their product in 2 dish’s here. The Asada Buddha Bowl was one of them. We got that Togo and had for dinner. That was really good. Would get that one again. For lunch I had All American Burger and fries. Very good. I like there was a lot of lettuce on it and yummy sauce.

Buddha Belly Burger is a great option for any vegan person dining out. The burgers themselves are great and they have a wide selection to choose from, but there’s also a lot to get out of the sides. I was particularly fond of the mushroom tacos. It is expensive, but the quality is absolutely there.

Actually really good! Our server when she brought them out said it was her first time making them and to let her know how they tasted. Since it was our first time trying them we didn’t have anything to compare them to, but we loved them and will definitely have them again. Let me know what you think if you ever try them.

The food at Buddha Belly is terrific, but these prices belong in NYC. If they were more reasonable I would go more often, but they just aren't. It's an order at the counter type of place where they hand out numbers and you're not paying less than $25 for a burger and fries with tax and tip. Makes me sadly wonder how long they will actually make it in this corner of midtown.

Over a few visits we've tried most of the menu. Loved both the country fried steak and carne asada burgers. Absolutely awesome. Was disappointed with the even more expensive Lions Mane mushroom burger which was served with a mountain of micro greens but very little mushrooms. Waste of money and wouldn't order that one again.
The corn ribs were tasty but $9 for basically elote seems excessive. The trumpet mushroom tacos were really good - I would order those again!
The maha mushroom appetizer is priced like an entree so although delicious, I doubt I would spring for it again and would just buy a burger for a meal instead.
We tried the avocado shake and tiramisu desserts and they were good but just a one-time splurge for us.
Pros: Country Fried Steak Burger, Carne Asada Burger, Mini trumpet mushroom tacos
Cons: Prices are too high to make this a regular stop, Service can be hit or miss if they're busy.

Loved the All American Burger, but the Grilled Shaken Beef Bowl was the star. The “steak” cubes made the dish, with a nice chewy texture and the char-broiled flavor that someone finally got right! We don’t usually put dressing on our salad and almost missed out— the salad dressing for the bowl absolutely perked it up. Add the lemon, too. This will be more of a once in a while place for us, due to the prices. Will be back! #Veganuary

The presentation was amazing. The food was fresh and delicious! My partner and I shared a chicken fried steak burger that had a nice crisp to it. We also enjoyed the smoked BBQ tofu salad. It was one of the best salads I have ever had. We also got down on some corn ribs which were sweet and spicy. We actually ate everything! The portions were perfect. Clean dining area and restrooms. 10 out of 10 would recommend. I was honestly surprised by how good everything was! #Veganuary

The burgers are all delicious. We had the All-American, Banh Mi, the Lions Mane and they were all fantastic. The fries were good on the side too. My wife had the Carne Asada bowl and loved it, especially the caramelized onions. The Edamame Soba had so many different vegetables and was another great option. First time and we will definitely come again!

The food was insanely delicious and the service was 100%!!! We were first timers and they were very patient and helpful. We had garlic fries with the Bahn Mi burger and it was perfection! The drinks are awesome!!! The corn ribs were so good and flavor was on point!!! We also got the BBQ tofu salad to go and wow AMAZING !!! We will definitely be back for more!!!

Ordered the All American, Buddha Fries, and Vietnamese drip coffee with condensed coconut cream. The burger was delicious, really enjoyed it. The fries could have used a bit more toppings but still were good. The coffee was a revelation and is now my favorite coffee.

Corn ribs are charred with great spices. Broccoli charred with fantastic seasoning. Okra and Tom yum paste amazing lime, ginger explosion. Lions Maine cheddar Broccoli soup very comforting. Banh mi burger and Carne asada burger needed more sauce but were very tasty. Blueberry lemonade refreshing. Everything served was plated beautifully to be called fast food doesn't do it justice. A winner ,we came from out of town for the vegan chef challenge and old Town Sacramento vegan fair. Will come back!

I went here on a whim and ordered the Banh Mi Burger and a Mango Black tea. I was pleased to see that I could get charred broccoli as a side, and that my plate was so artfully arranged! And the drink was pretty, too, with little chia seeds floating around. Service was fine and the food was delicious! My burger had a little bite to it. ;)
