A couple of vegan options - Edit
They had two truly vegan options. The others marked vegetarian couldn't be made vegan due to cross contamination. Had the chickpea tuna salad, hubby had black bean wrap.

Amazing as always - Edit
At the risk of sounding nostalgic, when I was in college I used to come here with my friends for a vegan chili dog. Over five years later, I came back and the food is as amazing as ever. The plant loaf sandwich is a beautiful thing that filled me up quite nicely. Their new space is so fun and so much to look at. Highly recommend for a fast meal that satisfies.

very reasonable prices for sandwiches whilst everything else is getting more expensive. Think I got the vegan chickn sandwich and remember it being a really good option.

Nice vegetarian menu! Quick service at the counter. - Edit
Nice vegetarian menu! I liked the vegetarian meatloaf with a side of broccoli-kale salad. You can sit at the small counter which is quicker than getting a table.

Better than we imagined! - Edit
We stopped in for a great lunch after touring Charleston. We could only be seated in the outdoor patio, but we were comfortable enough. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, the food was excellent. I had the Black Bean Santa Fe wrap.

Great food and atmosphere - Edit
Excellent food. Reasonable prices. The vegan chicken sandwich was tender and tasty. It’s like a diner and is decorated with cool old board games. They also have non-vegan options. Lots of vegan options.

Great Vegan options - Edit
Excellent vegan options clearly marked. Went for breakfast at the new Calhoun Street location and the 80’s themed decorations make it a fun conversation spot. We got thw vegan breakfast bisquit sandwich with vegan egg, vegan sausage, vegan cheddar and avocado-it was great and the vegan bisquit was amazing. We ate it too fast to take a picture!!#Veganuary

Amazing sandwich - Edit
They had several vegetarian items on the menu that looked like the could easily be made vegan. Our waiter checked with the kitchen to confirm that plant loaf sand which was indeed vegan with no modifications. It was amazing. The vegan Gouda and the apple butter sriracha glaze really made the sandwich. I would definitely return here if I were in the Charleston area again

Just what I needed - Edit
They seem to have eliminated a lot of the options that other reviewers have mentioned - however what they do have on the menu is solid and it’s perfect hangover food. They’re also able to modify their vegetarian dishes to make them vegan. They only offer sourdough and pita as their vegan bread options but the sourdough was absolutely delicious and went well with my burger!

Not Sure - Edit
First of all, the food I ate tasted good. They had some vegan options. However, I ate there twice and I'm not sure that my server knew which foods were vegan the first time I ate there, which is not a good feeling. I recommend to keep asking, someone will know.

Excellent service, friendly staff & kid/dog-friendly too. We had sandwiches - the not tuna and plantloaf. Both were excellent and very generous portions for the price.

We went to the Calhoun location. - Edit
The Calhoun location serves breakfast items. And the have dine-in available. We got the vegan breakfast plate and Avocado toast veganized. Even though we were disappointed that they had run out of vegan sausage, we were super impressed. Really delicious food and coffee. Also the inside is filled with nostalgic memorabilia. So fun!

The food was ok. They were out of a lot of the vegetarian options. They forgot part of my order. It wasn't bad, but I don't think I'd go back.

Everyone wins! - Edit
I traveled to Charleston with two meat eaters (I’m vegan) and this was the only place we ate at that everyone had plenty of options and left satisfied. It’s nice that they have both processed vegan options (sietan and veggie-based burgers and “chicken” patties) and healthier fare. Pretty authentically casual-Southern too, with fried green tomatoes and spicy jams and BBQ sauces that really complement the dishes. Be sure to order the homemade lemonade! We also loved eating outdoors because you had more room and could dog-spot.
