Some vegan options - Edit
There were three sweet vegan options when we stopped in today, we had a cinnamon roll and an apple cake. They were clearly labeled as vegan on their signs. They were both pleasant, and there are seats outside to enjoy the afternoon sunshine while you eat your treats.

Cosy but limited vegan options - Edit
The atmosphere is very nice and if you manage to grab a spot outside it is nice to enjoy the sun. Convenient combination with a small organic store. Too bad there were not many vegan options, only some humus sandwiches from yesterday. Good to save food😉They did have 2 vegan cakes and vegan milks for in drinks.

100% Berliner Kiez Experience - Edit
I am a regular customer. People working there are just great and food is very good. I think they put an invisible ingredient into their bread, cakes, pizza, soups and pastries which can be called “neighbourhood love”.

Good vibes - Edit
It was close to where I stayed for my weekend visit in Berlin and I came here two days in a role. Good vibes and they all speak English. Always many people. It was open at 10:30 on Monday so their business hours are not up to date. Not much vegan choice so ask for what is. Vegan hummus sandwich was delicious and pumpkin seed bread was just ok.

A magical place - Edit
If you ever imagined those little family owned places, this is what would come up to your mind. A small bakery and coffee with a nice tasty selection and a place to rest your thoughts. For my partner the pastries were perfect, for me a bit too dry, so I guess that is a question of preferences but the fruit bread was really very juicy and tasty! They offer a choice of spreads and vegan baked goods and to that little store with a selection of vegan and vegetarian spreads and products at normal prices. You can sit outside and enjoy your breakfast with your coffee and don't stress yourself if it's full, the people are very friendly and will offer a place on the table.

A Klausenerplatz kiez gem - Edit
Brotgarten is an organic bakery with an attached shop (selling several kinds of plant milk and other organic goods) and a nice attached bistro / café.
Especially when the weather is good, it is so nice to sit there outside on Saturday morning, have a good soy or oat milk cappuccino and enjoy the Berlin summer atmosphere.
Located very close to the lovely Lylla Biomarkt (organic shop), Brotgarten is one of many gems that make the Klausenerplatzkiez / Danckelmannkiez what it is.
Pros: Nice atmosphere when the weather is good
Cons: Not much place to sit inside
