Great fresh breakfast - Edit
The Jaap experience was above expected, because the reviews I read were critical. It seems this place has upgraded their game. It was busy around 10:30 am, which is a good sign. I had a very delicious vegan no-tuna sandwich with very fresh vegatables and vegan cheddar on a fresh and warm toast. With some good coffee and a fruit drink on the side.

They have some vegan options, I tried the sweet vegan sandwich which didn't really do it for me. It was quite bland and was served with some crisps and salad without any dressing or oil. The coffee was okay and they have plant milk options. Overall it wasn't bad but just a little boring and lacking in taste. Portion sizes could be a little bigger as well. The staff is very friendly and its a cozy place. Prices are very reasonable.

Broodcafé Jaap is a busy bakery and cafe. They have a few vegan options on the menu. I tried the vegan sweet sandwich. It was okay, but the portion was small and it was served with dry lettuce on the side. The matcha latte was a bit too sweet for me.

Friendly staff. Cosy livingroom atmosphere. I had the bread with hummus and toppings (vegan), tasted fine. Delicious fresh ginger'tea'.

A big range of Vegan options and two different full breakfast options for 7,50 euro!

The lunch soups are vegan too.
Also many other non vegan-vegatarian options.
When the weather alow’s it, you can sit outside in a small city garden.
