Vegan fish steak and battered sausage! - Edit
Really good vegan fish steak and vegan battered sausage! The chips are massive portions too. Really enjoyed it and will definitely go back.

Delicious! - Edit
I came here with my fiancée and we went for the vegan fish steak for 2, vegan sausage for 2, a large chips, 2 pots of curry sauce and a pot of mushy peas. It all came to £18 which I thought was very reasonable as we got a lot of delicious food. There’s no seating in the shop but 5 minutes away is Hilly Fields Park so we sat on a bench and ate it there instead.
Read moreThe food was all amazing! The batter on the fish steak and the sausages was so good – super crispy and fresh, really enjoyable. The sausages themselves were delicious and full of flavour. I was expecting them to be good but more of a standard sausage taste but they were really full of flavour.
The fish steak was also great – really tasty and I also really enjoyed the texture. I’m not actually sure what they were made of (maybe you can tell from my picture?) but it was a different texture to tofish, rice flakes or banana blossom so I don’t think it was any of those. The chips were excellent – proper chip shop chips and a great sized portion. Also all of the food tasted really fresh and none of it was greasy. I ate a lot of food from here and it didn’t upset my stomach which is unusual for fish and chips as it’s often pretty greasy. The mushy peas and curry sauce pots were also very tasty and big!
The food here is delicious, definitely give it a go!
Pros: Great vegan options, Delicious fresh food, Good value

The Vegan fish cake is award winning! - Edit
I was not expecting much but boy oh boy I was soooo impressed with the vegan fish cake - made of tapioca and something else - it tasted and felt like fish. The texture was like fish. I was not so impressed with the vegan sausage but loved that they served different flavours of Fentiman drinks.
Read morePros: Multiple vegan options , plastic free packaging (condiments in plastic), Multiple Fentiman flavours
Cons: Not mainly a vegan foodplace, Did not have a seating area, Not 100% plastic-free

Great vegan options - Edit
Lots of vegan and veggie main options - have had the tofu (pretty flavourless) before but the fish steak is the best I’ve tried and battered sausage is v good too! Mushy peas are homemade with plant based butter and chips are great. It’s pretty expensive but best chippy I’ve tried in south london

HOLD THE PHONE 🤤 - Edit
SO GOOD !! I’m in love with this place, such a privilege to be able to order ‘fish and chips’ from a normal takeaway. They have so much choice (vegan fish cakes, vegan scampi, vegan ‘cod fillets’, vegan fish fingers) me and my pal got it to takeaway and enjoyed it in the park - ‘fish’ is so crispy, just so nice to be able to enjoy ‘fish and chips’ the vegan way but like old times. Proper Friday night treat !

Fisch and chips that hit the spot - Edit
I really enjoyed my fisch and chips here. Fulfilled my need for a salty, slightly greasy battered treat - and I mean that in a positive way!
Read moreOne note, I came with a veggie friend and she found the fisch too realistic so, depending on what type of vegan you are, you might want to choose something else.

Great vegan options - Edit
This local chippy has a vegan section on the menu. It has quite a large seating area out the back. It was very clean and good friendly service. We had the fish steak and the sausages in batter. Both authentic and melt in the mouth delicious. They both came with chips. The chips themselves are huge and you get a very large portion. I would probably share a portion next time. There is also a large choice of cold drinks with healthy options.

Cons: Not all vegans, Too many chips and not enough fish

Best vegan fish n chips ever - Edit
Such crispy yummy batter, really good price, tastes fishy but not in a nasty way. My omni mum said she'd never eat real fish n chips again! My vegetarian friends loved it. Scampi is meant to be good but often sold out - worth calling ahead. The veggie cake (fishcake) and sausage aren't worth getting but still good to have on the menu. Vegan chips worth provided when you order vegan food, because otherwise I think chips are fried in the oil used for fish. 100% must go to when in London!

Deep-fried delights - but no vegan mushy peas! - Edit
I was excited that my local chippy has a vegan menu, and the options l've tried (fish steak and vegan cake) were very good. However, my real favourite with chips is mushy peas, and the peas here aren't vegan! (They contain butter.) I have never been so disappointed about peas - and they don't sell beans either. The food is very tasty, with perfectly cooked chips and large portion sizes, but it's all deep fried and there's no way to pretend it's healthy. I was left feeling a bit greasy and craving legumes.

really happy - Edit
Since turning vegan I have really missed great chish and fips and a good "Dirty" battered sausage. This place is fantastic in quality anyway and now has a full vegan menu with "fish steaks in batter" and all sorts. It has a separate fryer for all this stuff and chips.
