Brockhill Cafe renamed now Cafe Atma - Edit
Same owner, more spiritual cafe. Reading reviews, I decided to go for the Mexican burger. It was vegan and very nice. Everything on the menu is vegan apart from anything with cheese. No vegan cheese available but it does have vegan mayonnaise so do ask for it.

Pros: Mexican burger, Reasonable priced, Ask for vegan mayonnaise

Friendly, lovely location - Edit
Counter service. Staff friendly and helpful. We both had the Mexican bean burger in a brown bap with the avocado salad which was very good, but there were plenty of other vegan options too, and all the cakes were vegan. We’d already started on our burgers before I remembered to take photos, hence the half-eaten food - sorry! You can sit outside in a beautiful setting, with trees and wildlife all around. Last orders are at 2.30pm so get there in plenty of time. Also, they will not take payment from credit/debit cards, only cash or cheques taken.

Nothing spectacular but just you need after a walk around the park. Very friendly staff. A very pleasant meal. Would be interested to visit again in peak season because we went two days after reopening following the winter break. (Direction link from Happy Cow to Waze was wrong.)

Perfect Day - Edit
Visited Brockhill Park for the second time and used the cafe for the first time. Nice menu with lots of vegan options. Staff are lovely and service was sharp. Our daughter loved the rasberry ice-cream. Very cheap for what you receive. Lovely walk with the dogs too, oh and their welcome in the cafe 😉 we will be back.

Cheap food, great setting - Edit
The food here is extremely low cost and the portions are good. There is a whole range of food from veggie bacon butties to lentil cottage pie, burgers and chips etc so whether you want a big meal or a snack there will be something. They also have dairy free soft ice cream. Great walk through the park and around the lake too, beautiful snowdrops. There is seating indoors and outdoors.

Tasty food and lovely staff - Edit
We stopped here for lunch on our way back home after a holiday in Europe. Really delicious food, all vegetarian. I am a gluten free vegan which can be tricky but the staff couldn't have been more helpful, I had the vege shepherds pie which was yum, followed by dairy free ice cream which was delicious. My husband is not veggie in the slightest but he thoroughly enjoyed his vege sausage in French bread. Lovely outside eating area in peaceful surroundings. Cannot recommend this place enough for a lunch or snack and only wish we lived nearer, we will definitely be back!
