In short - Cardboard food for the brave or desperate. Also do not go here if you are vegan because you could get non vegan food instead of what you ordered.

This has been recommended time and time again by friends, but all three times we have visited expectations fell flat.
Service- I find myself waiting. Waiting to order. Waiting to get drinks refilled. Waiting to pay. Not to mention staff hasn't seemed super familiar with the menu when asking relatively basic questions.
Quality- I have yet to try something to write home about. If anything eating food here makes me sad because I have wasted money on something I could've done better with, faster and cheaper to boot.
Value- The menu prices aren't completely unreasonable, and if you are able to eat cardboard until you are stuffed then you'll leave full and satisfied.
Vegan Options- RUN. They added real cheese to our vegan options even when we explicitly ordered vegan. When I questioned the food we received we were gaslit and told it was vegan cheese. After spending the evening on the toilet thanks to this mistake (lactose intolerant) this is enough to make me never return. Beyond that, all the vegan options I have tried are terrible. The vegan burger is what turns me to tears because I can make a beyond burger at home that tastes better, or my homemade bean burgers are better too. The Rueben also was particularly disappointing, and the wings left much to be desired.

My response:
Yes, i could've written this in a more friendly manner but why would i? I'm not trying to put this company out of business. All i want is to share my experiences. And how to respond to such a review? Well, maybe try to respond to the actual issues that can be addressed, like i don't know, how non vegan food is served instead of vegan food, or any one of the other issues i mentioned. It's not like i just wrote this review to bomb the place. I use the same review format everywhere i eat, so yes, i will share my experiences in multiple categories and if it is bad in multiple areas then that gets shown. And ignore me and trust your friends? I mean, sure. We trusted some internet strangers and see where that got us? Anyway, i don't need a real response. As far as I'm concerned I'm unwilling to trust this restaurant again and no words will change that.

Must try the onion rings (strings), very salty and so delicious. Tofu fish fry was also good. LOTS of vegan options, clearly labeled. I went on the Sunday night before the eclipse, so that's probably not the best time to comment on speed and service, haha. Very close walk to Brics for ice cream after!

Highly recommend the fish & chips!!! - Edit
Very warm and welcoming pub. They had a lot of vegan options, including the vegan dessert. The fish and chips is homemade (not just Gardein) and comes in a huge portion. They also offer a vegan dessert (cinnamon dough balls). Extremely impressed!

So many vegan options and they are delicious! My husband loves the garden sloppy Joe and I enjoy the vegan tenderloin. The beer is delicious and there’s local sodas that hit the spot! Dog friendly, indoor or outdoor seating. Very good service. Family friendly and adjacent to one of Indy’s most popular urban trails.

Crazy good meal and beer - Edit
I hade the vegan chickn tenderloin sandwich with sautéed veggies and a pale ale and it was such a great meal. The veggies were so fresh and well made and the sandwich was something I never seen before as a vegan. It was so tasty! I will totally come back and try their other vegan options.

Had dinner here since our hotel is a few yards away! So many Amazing vegan choices! It was hard to choose. I had the vegan tenderloin, thin onion rings, mashed potatoes and bubble and squeak. Wow! This meal didn’t disappoint. I couldn’t determine if beers are vegan or not. If the beer list would include a vegan identification, I would rate this place at a Five for sure!

The vibes in this place were immaculate. Lots of vegan options for sandwiches with seitan and vegan pizza too. I’m not lying when I say that the nachos I had- that I had made vegan- were the best nachos I’ve ever had. This isn’t even mentioning the fresh brews they make in house that were absolutely delicious, some of the best beer I’ve ever had. Completely stunned at how awesome this place was! I’m coming back for sure!

They have everything that is vegan or vegetarian labeled so you know exactly what options you have and there are A LOT of options! I got the tenderloin because it's an iconic food for Indiana and I wanted to experience it. It did not disappoint! Definitely recommend this place!

Brewpub with multiple vegan options - Edit
After browsing their numerous options, we ended up ordering the Reuben and the tenderloin sandwich. Great portion sizes, but we would have preferred options for sides other than potato chips. The sandwiches themselves were pretty good, although slightly bland. Not the best versions of them we’ve had, but enjoyable overall.

Server told me one of their former employees runs tenth street diner so they have a lot of seitain from there! I wasn't a huge fan of the fish and chips, basically because it was just tofu deep fried, but the starter sauce and round chip things were incredible. Definitely would love to try more of the large menu.

Overlooked place in Broad Ripple from an out of towner - Edit
Tend to go down the strip when I would go through Broad Ripple. Once I started working nearby I explored more and got comfortable with the cramped streets it feels. BR Brewpub has some serious bar food options for us vegans to enjoy. Whether you get it to go or dine-in you can't go wrong.

Vegan Tenderloin, say what?! - Edit
I've never seen a vegan tenderloin, so I of course had to try it. It was awesome! I added some of the onion rings that I had on the side to my sandwich. My partner had the reuben with a side of the pub chips. His side was better than the onion rings. Overall, a great meal and we had leftovers which is rare for us.
