Reliable, casual pizza place with vegan cheese, fresh ingredients & friendly service

I usually order the hummus platter, which is meant to be a shareable appetizer; however, I sometimes use it for my meal. I've also had their arugula with pear salad and vegan cheese pizzas and all my meals have been tasty with fresh ingredients. It's been a while since I had that arugula salad, so I can't recall which of their dressings are vegan. I've rarely had to complain about anything on my plate.

Besides the food, I appreciate the casual atmosphere, the friendly staff and the community involvement of this particular Brixx restaurant. They sponsor a 5K/10K race every year around Halloween; in 2023, nearly 100 people finished the 10K (6.2 miles) and 140 completed the 5K (3.1 miles). After the race, participants can hang out at Brixx for a post-race party.

Pros: vegan cheese!, fresh veggies, moderate prices

Cons: limited vegan options, no vegan desserts
